Properties / Applications ®
Bayhydrol U 2750 is a hydroxyfunctional polycarbonate ester-polyurethane
dispersion which can be thinned with water to application
viscosity. In combination with hydrophobic polyisocyanates (e.g.
®
Desmodur ultra N 3600, N 3900) and/or with hydrophilic polyisocyanates
(e.g. Bayhydur ultra 304, ultra 305, XP 2655) high performance,
hard-elastic two-component polurethane-hydrocoatings can be formulated.
®
Two-component polyurethane hydrocoatings based on Bayhydrol U 2750
are characterized by high weathering resistance (gloss-retention, resistance
to cracking), good appearance (high gloss, low haze value) and very high
reflow-behavior after dry- or weet-scratching.
®
Bayhydrol U 2750 is compatible with various polyacrylic dispersions (e.g.
®
Bayhydrol A 145, A 2470, A 2601, A 2845, A 2695, A 2770). On account of
the many potential co-reactants, compatibility testing should always be carried
out.
Cleaning After use, formulation and application equipment should be cleaned
immediately or left to soak in water. Warm water, alkaline cleaning agents or
alkaline isopropyl alcohol are suitable for cleaning.
