Special Arrangements
Special delivery requirements
The delivery mode will include full-time and part-time modes
Special assessment arrangement
Continuous Assessment
The students shall be assessed through continuous assessment work in the form of assignments
and tests and final examination. This module shall have;
2 tests of 1.5 hours each, each test contributing 15%
1 Assignment, each contributing 10%
Final exam of 2 hours contributing 60%
Continuous assessment mark shall contribute 40% of the final mark. A continuous assessment
mark of 50% will be required to sit for the final examination
Final Examination
A final examination shall be taken on completion of a module during scheduled
examination times. The examination mark shall contribute 60% to the final
mark. A subminimum of 40% is required for each paper.
Final Mark
The final mark shall consist of the total Continuous Assessment and
Examination scores on a 40/60 basis. A students needs to have an average of
50% for each module to pass.
Supplementary Examinations
There shall be an opportunity for supplementary examinations for students who
fail to pass the requirements in the module. The eligibility and other issues for
supplementary examinations shall be determined by the provision of Academic
General Assessment Regulations of Triumphant College.
Grading
Moderation
All tests and assignments will be internally moderated by a second internal examiner from the College
other than the lecturers teaching the subject. The final examination will be moderated by an external
examiner, who shall be appointed by the College as a recognised practitioner or expert in the
subject/course, following the college guidelines for the appointment of external examinations.
