(AC-S03) Week 03 - Task: Assignment - A job interview

Good evening, today we will develop the assignment "Job Interview".

Interviewer:
Applicant 1:
Applicant 2:

Interviewer: Good morning "applicant 1" and "applicant 2", I have brought you together
to tell you that a position has opened for Head of the Systems Area in our company and
you have been selected.
Applicant 1: Good morning "Interviewer", thank you for giving us the opportunity to fill
the position.
Applicant 2: Good morning "Interviewer", I also appreciate the opportunity to consider
us for this position, but tell us what it is about.
Interviewer: The Company’s management has asked me to make an evaluation through
some questions regarding the activities of this position.
Applicant 1: But what is the interview about, are we going to be evaluated on
knowledge?
Applicant 2: Yes, how will we be evaluated for this new position?
Interviewer: The interview will be aimed at knowing your availability, knowledge and the
necessary skills required for this new position.
Applicant 1: Excellent, when this interview will take place.
Applicant 2: That's perfect, when do we start?
Interviewer: Right now, it won't take more than 2 minutes, so I need you to tell me what
your skills are and what you are working on now?
Applicant 1: I am currently working with a group of 02 engineers as a project leader in
financial control software development.
Applicant 2: I am working on an APP to measure the degree of satisfaction of one of
our clients.
Interviewer: What are the activities you are developing?
Applicant 1: I am solving the problems of software.
Interviewer: What do you think are your best qualities, Applicant 1?
Applicant 1: Teamwork and effective communication are the qualities that allow me to
do a good job.
Interviewer: What about you, Applicant 2?

Applicant 2: I am working with a group of 03 engineers making the sequence of
programming development parameters of this APP.
Interviewer: What do you think are your best qualities, Applicant 2?
Applicant 2: I am a proactive, creative person and I have the ability to work under
pressure to accomplish the work activities.
Interviewer: Why do you think you are a good candidate for this position?
Applicant 1: I am a professional with extensive experience in the systems area, with
responsibilities to develop new business and able to lead international teams.
Applicant 2: My profile fits the requirements of the position, I also understand that I will
have to learn new processes and other key factors to which I will be able to easily adapt.
Interviewer: The position requires activities outside of Lima. Is it possible for you to
travel?
Applicant 1: Yes I can do it, my current activities have allowed me to travel constantly,
so I would not have any inconvenience.
Applicant 2: Likewise, I had to travel for 01 month to develop one of our client's projects.
Interviewer: Thank you for your answers. I would like to tell you that the position requires
a person that have the ability to work in a team, in extended hours and weekends.
Applicant 1: I have no problem, in fact I currently have a routine that way.
Applicant 2: I have no objection to meet this requirement.
Interviewer: I appreciate your time in this initial interview, I will be scheduling a second
meeting in person to continue with your evaluation, have a good night.
Applicant 1 and 2: Thank you, good night.
