Assignment Task
You are required to choose a UK based Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and then research
the Human Resource Management (HRM) Practices. In this, you should present an analysis
and evaluation of HRM challenges of the named organization.
Your presentation should draw on models and theories from the module, literature, and wider
reading to structure your analysis and should aim at outlining the nature of the organization
and assess the extent to which HRM challenges impede the operations and management of
your chosen organization.
You will be given a mark out of 100 and this account for 50% of the overall module mark.
Your Presentation must be submitted electronically no later than 30th April 2024, by 15:00.

The Task
Critically examine the HRM activities, using both academic theories, and empirical evidence
to demonstrate the challenges of HRM activities.
Each group should identify HRM challenges and provide alternative solutions to the
Challenges. You submit three different documents
A. A 1000-word document explaining the HRM challenges and solutions to the problem
of the SME (Excluding title page and references). The1000-word summary explaining
the critical issues and must demonstrate critical thinking skills in your argument. The
1000 words should be in an essay format.
B. PowerPoint slides (not more than 10 Slides – excluding title page and reference list)
and,
C. have 15 minutes video presentation (Pre-recorded video presentations) – the 15
minutes video can be uploaded onto the slide or make a YouTube link (the link
MUST be provided on the first page of the slides). Each member of the group MUST
present a section and show your face. Failure to do so will result in the loss of HALF
of the total marks. During presentation, all cameras MUST BE ON. Failure to show
your face means half of the mark will be loss.
Submission Guidelines:
1. ONLY one designated member from each team will be required to submit the three
documents (PowerPoint Slides, 1000-words document, and 15 minutes video
presentation) on behalf of the entire team.

Free riding will not be tolerated and will be penalized
