Where is Australia located?


Physical geography. Australia or Sahul is a country and a continent at the same time located in
Oceania, between the Indian Ocean and the South Pacific, between latitudes 9° and 44° south,
and longitudes 112° and 154° east. It shares a name with the country that claims its control.

kilometres. It is called “90 Mile Straight” and is located
on the Eyre Highway. It is a completely straight road,
without any curves, that connects Western Australia
with South Australia through the Nullarbor Plain, a flat
land covered with vegetation, but without trees, hills
or lakes, of 200,000 square kilometers in area (a area
larger than Uruguay).
