WEBINAR WORKSHOP

1. Consistent with the Schools Division strategic thrust of attaining the goal on delivering
continuous, quality, relevant, accessible and liberating education to all learners, this Office
through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) will hold a three-day virtual/ on-line
activity entitled Division In-Service Training for Social Studies Teachers on The
Challenges of Araling Panlipunan/ Social Studies Curriculum Beyond Classroom: A
Remote Webinar Workshop on August 11-13, 2021 via MS Teams.

2. The objective of the training is to discuss and answer the challenges of Araling Panlipunan/
Social Studies curriculum beyond classroom set-up. Likewise, the activity specifically aims to:
a. widen participants’ understanding on AP/ Social Studies through various methods,
techniques, strategies, among others.
b. utilize shared resources, activities, strategies, and the like in teaching AP/ Social
Studies subjects
c. share research related output in AP/ Social Studies subjects
d. demonstrate teaching based on the acquired knowledge provided by the resource
speaker

3. The meeting link, ID, and password for the activity will be sent thru their e-mail address and/or
other communication platforms. Enclosed herewith is the Task Committee for reference.

4. Three-day service credit will be granted to the teacher-participants who shall be attending the
activity as per DepEd Order No. 53, s. 2003.

5. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
