IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Candidates should report at the test venue 90 minutes prior to the commencement of the test. Entry to the test venue premises will be closed exactly
15 minutes prior to the commencement of the test. No candidate will be allowed to enter the test venue/ premises thereafter under any
circumstances.
2. Candidates must bring a valid identity proof in original containing photograph (Voter’s id card / Driving license / School or College identity
card / Valid Passport / Aadhaar card / e-Aadhaar colour printout /PAN card / Digilocker Document) along with this admit card. Photos or
scanned copies of the Identity cards stored in the mobile phones will not be accepted as a valid identity proof.
3. Obtain the verification seal for each test in the Admit card and keep it in safe custody of the candidate till the completion of the admission process.
4. Three marks will be awarded for each right answer and one mark will be deducted against each wrong answer for all the test codes.
5. Discrepancies, if any, in the admit card must be brought to the notice of Directorate of Admissions, CUSAT immediately and well in advance before
the test date.
6. Admit card is purely provisional. Admission is subject to fulfillment of all the eligibility criteria as per the prospectus 2024 published in the web site

7. Impersonation in the examination is a legally punishable offense and such cases will be reported to the local police station immediately.

1. All candidates are directed to strictly follow the instructions given below as well as those displayed on the login screen at the time of online test.
2. This Admit Card is provisional and the receipt of the same and the appearance of the candidate in the CAT 2024 does not guarantee admission in
the University.
3. This test will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates are advised to take a sample computer based mock test (generic in nature not subject
specific) through the link provided in the web site https://admissions.cusat.ac.in to familiarize with the CBT.
4. Candidates must produce the hard copy of the downloaded Admit Card along with a valid Identity proof in original containing photograph (Voter's
ID card / Driving License / School or College Identity Card / Valid Passport / Aadhaar Card / e-Aadhaar colour printout / PAN card, Digilocker
Document) at the test center, failing which the candidate will not be permitted to attend the test. Photos or scanned copies of the Identity cards
stored in the mobile phones will not be accepted as a valid identity proof.
5. Candidates who do not possess any of the identity proofs mentioned above should prepare an Identity Certificate (in duplicate) in the
prescribed format with his / her photo and signature affixed in the space provided, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer of State or Central
Government, and should bring it to the examination hall. Please check the menu ‘Resources’ in the web site https://admissions.cusat.ac.in
for Identity Certificate format.
6. Candidates should carry normal blue / black ball point pen and are not allowed to share with or borrow any items from other candidates during the
test.
7. Candidates whose photo and / or signature is not printed properly on the Admit Card, should affix a recent passport size photograph / affix signature
on the downloaded Admit Card and get it duly attested by a Gazetted Officer of State or Central Govt. The candidate must sign in the presence of
the attesting officer. The name, designation and office seal of the attesting officer must be clearly visible. Such admit cards should be handed over
to the invigilator. Candidates may keep a duplicate copy for their record.
8. Bio metric capturing of photo/finger print of the candidates is mandatory. The candidates attempting any malpractice during the course of the test
will summarily be disqualified.
9. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the expiry of the scheduled duration of the test.
10. Use of books, writing pads, notebooks, Logarithm tables, Watches of all types, any kind of electronic devices such as Scientific Data Book,
Calculator, Mobile Phone, Pen Scanner, reprographic devices, camera, data recording devices, other communication devices etc. are not
permitted in the examination hall.
11. Rough work is to be done only on the blank sheets provided at the examination hall. Candidate should write his / her Roll No. on all the blank sheets
given for roughwork. The sheets supplied has to be returned to the invigilator on completion of each test.
12. Differently abled candidates who require scribe / compensatory time for examination were directed to submit specific request for the same to the
University helpdesk ([email protected]) through their registered e-mail id. Such candidates should also produce copy of the required
medical certificate issued by the competent medical board as stipulated by the Government at the time of test. Compensatory time admissible for
such candidates shall be 20 minutes per one hour or proportionate fraction thereof depending on the total duration of the examination.
13. Candidates found copying or resorting to any unfair means including seeking help from other candidates during the test or violating any conditions
of the test will summarily be disqualified for admission in the University. Such candidates will also forfeit all claims for admission in the University in
future.
14. Candidates should maintain complete silence during the exam time and communication in any form between candidates or with outsiders will be
treated as malpractice.
15. All kinds of personal belongings other than pen shall be kept outside the examination hall at candidate’s own risk. Candidates are advised not to
bring such personal belongings to the test center, as the University or Examination center shall not be responsible for any loss / theft of such items.
16. Candidates may approach the Chief Superintendent of the venue in case of any difficulty and should abide by his / her instructions and decisions.
Complaints, if any, regarding the examination should be given in writing to the Chief Superintendent of the Center.
17. Results / Schedule of Allotment / Admission will not be communicated individually. Candidates shall periodically visit the website

19. The test will be conducted strictly adhering to Covid -19 protocols/guidelines issued by the Govt authorities prevailing at the time of the
examination.
