Pressing Toward the Goal


What is our main goal as Christians?
Our goal is to be like Christ. It is our high calling or heavenly calling!
To be Conformed or Transformed in the image of His Son
Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might
be the firstborn among many brethren.

Ang gagayahin o tutularan natin ay ang Panginoong Hesus.


Ex. Parang sa artista… yung mga umiidolo sa artista. Kung ano yung paboritong kulay niyan minsan yun na din paborito
mo. kung ano style ng buhok, damit na sinusuot, pati pagsasalita minsan ginagaya mo.

In our day, papaano natin tinitignan ang buhay ng Panginoong Hesus sa panahon natin ngayon?
If Christ is in our place, will He do same as to what we our doing?

If Christ will go to church? What time He will come?


If Christ will give to church? How much will He give?
If Christ will sing, what will He sing?
If Christ will pray, how much time will He spend?
If Christ will listen to God’s Word, how is His attitude to God’s Word?
If Christ will serve, what kind of service will He do?
If Christ is with other believers, will others be edified?
If Christ is with unbelievers, will He share the Gospel?
If Christ is a student, will He study hard?
If Christ is a young child, will he obey His parents?
If Christ is a husband, will he love His wife as he ought to be? If a wife, will He submits?
If Christ is an employee, will He work faithful?
Our goal is to be like Christ!

Be honest tonight! All of us are convicted that we are not yet always being faithful to our GOAL.
That’s why it must be our humble prayer that we will all be passionate and strive to be like CHRIST.
Kaya nga binigyan tayo ng Bible ng maraming instructions how to be like CHRIST.
Ang tanong binabasa ba natin ang Bible?
Kung binabasa natin, ina-apply ba natin?

Gusto natin maging katulad ni JESUS CHRIST?


IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE LIKE CHRIST WITHOUT STUDYING HIS WORD!

May studyante na grumagraduate ng school kahit nagbubulakbol sa pag-aaral.


Pero walang Kristyano na mag-grow sa pananampalataya na di nag-aaral ng salita ng DIOS.

Papano ka magiging soulwinner? Wala kang alam na verse about soulwinning


Papano ka magiging prayerful? Kulang tayo sa fuel para magpray, kulang tayo ng Word of God
Papano ka magiging giver? Ayaw mong aralin sa Bible ang mga verses about giving
Papano ka magiging involve sa ministry? mas inuuna pa natin ang FACEBOOK kesa sa FAITHBOOK

Alam niyo po ba ang Christian life according to GALATIANS 2:20?

To Die to self and live for Christ


Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in
the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Dying to self-daily.
Isang bagay na napakahirap gawin natin bilang Kristyano lalo sa panahon natin ngayon.

Not only to give up our fleshly and selfish desires but to kill it.

Meron bang mga bagay na alam natin na nagpapahina sa atin sa Panginoon o mga bagay na nagiging hadlang sa paglago
natin sa Panginoon? Lahat tayo meron po niyan.

Pag-aralan po natin ang sarili natin.


Kilalanin natin sarili natin saan tayo mahina at madalas tinitira ng Dyablo.
Then hingin natin ang lakas ng Panginoon to overcome it.
Mahirap talagang mamatay sa sarili, Pero worth it ba ang mabuhay para sa Panginoon?
Pakinabang ba ang mabuhay para kay KRISTO? YES! AMEN!

Pero bakit ayaw pa natin isuko lahat sa Panginoon?


Maybe we still enjoy the pleasures of sin and this world?
Maybe may reservation pa tayo sa sarili natin?
Maybe iniisip natin mahaba pa ang buhay?
Maybe pinagpapawalang bahala na natin ang ating pagharap natin sa Panginoon?
Maybe nanghihina tayo spiritually?

Napakaganda ng encouragement sa atin ng Panginoon, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth to
those things which are before

Sa mga nanghihina, nabagsak at nanghihinawa…pwede pang bumawi sa Panginoon.


Sa mga nagpapatuloy at nagpapagal sa paglilingkod…manatili at magpatuloy, marami pa tayong gagawin sa Panginoon.

So that we can boldly claim… Php 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
