Netiquette
Key Terms
New rules of etiquette have evolved for the new online
netiquette communication media provided by the Internet: e-mail, chat
rooms, and newsgroups. Nicknamed “netiquette,” the basic
flame
guidelines described here are important to keep in mind
spam whenever you are communicating with someone online.
E-mail
Of all the conveniences provided by the Internet, e-mail is
the most widely used. It has changed how people live, work,
