Donation Drive Letter - Apm
Donation Drive Letter - Apm
It has already been almost three years since distance learning was implemented. The setup has
resulted in schools adopting a virtual environment where students could attend their classes in
real-time. On this matter, we can not deny the fact that this setup has exposed a wide disparity
among students, especially in terms of technological accessibility. A lot of students do not have
the gadgets that they need for them to have a conducive platform to attend their classes and
comply with their requirements. About this crisis, I was saddened but also encouraged by one of
the posts of our fellow first-year students that I saw on Facebook. I was saddened to personally
see my fellow UNCean who does not have a laptop that she badly needs for her course. On the
other hand, I was encouraged by her post and her strong sense of dedication to writing this letter
and soliciting cash assistance from your humble organization on her behalf.
I am writing this letter to seek cash donations from your kind organization. To give you a
background of the student who will be benefited from your donations, allow me to introduce her
to you. Our beneficiary is Renalyn V. Francisco. She is a first-year Bachelor of Science in
Accountancy student. As you can see from the attached images below, Renalyn has been a
consistent honor student with engagements in both academic and non-academic activities. Her
perseverance and dedication despite the dilemma she bears were just recently shown in the
concluded first semester. She gained a general weighted average of 1.23. Her academic
performance shows how deserving she is to receive financial support from the students' fund.
Additionally, the courage she had to launch her own "Piso Para Sa Laptop, Piso Para Sa
Pangarap" made her even more deserving to receive our support. I will also be attaching below
the images that will further show you how she behaves as a student.
Our Council would like to work with its counterparts to collaboratively help Renalyn.
Since this is a donation drive, we will not be requiring you to give a particular amount.
This will depend on the capacity of your kind organization's fund to provide this
assistance. In this regard, the Council will wait for your donations until April 28, 2022.
Nonetheless, I initiated this donation drive because I am optimistic that as student
organizations, we all share the same objective which is to be able to serve our fellows in
whatever possible way.
We look forward to your positive response! Thank you, so much!
