Means of Visual Communication

Pictures Pictures such as drawings or photographs are


used to enhance the appearance and clarity of
printed communication. They are used for
advertising products, reporting events,
introducing managers and staff.

Flow Charts

These are graphs that use pictures. They are Histograms
commonly used to represent frequency of the

to represent how frequently values occur in a set
Disadv – Hard to read exact quantities of data.
