explorer we will have Ma’am Aira, the
explorer.
Ma’am Aira will give you situations and
instructions regarding our activity.
ACTIVITY 1: (MA’AM AIRA
THE EXPLORER)

Situation 1. (Ma’am Aira is going on a


camping trip, however, Ma’am Aira has a
condition where she is easy to forget where
she put an object. She forgot what she needed
for her backpacking and wasn’t able to
identify where she exactly put the items).
Instructions: There must be a representative
from each of the three groups into which you
will be divided. Utilizing the available clues,
you have five minutes to locate every item
that is missing. Once you’ve retrieved the
belongings return to your classroom.
(The teacher will give them a map where the
students can find the item and clues for the
items that need to be found)

Activity 2: (GOT IT, KNEW IT)
(Situation 2. Now that the missing items are
found, the learners need to help ma’am Aira (The students will present the

After the items are retrieved, within 3 minutes
the learners need to determine what the items
are used for. The learners will be creating a
short description using their own words by
presenting it to the class within 2 minutes per
group. The learners need to answer the

shortage or limitations.

used for emergency purposes.

source for campers to be able to see potential
dangers in the wilderness.

kitchen supplies, which are used for
cooking and eating of food.

Very good! It is necessary to prepare medical


supplies in case of conflicts and unwanted
injuries, especially if you are on a campsite or
outdoors.

6. The next item that we found


is water, which is used for drinking
and washing.

Very good! It is crucial to have your own


kitchen supplies for food preparation during
outdoor activities, as there may be no supplies

are used to maintain cleanliness.

minute preparation.
Situation 1. A family preparing for a camping
trip demonstrates the proper organization of
necessary backpacking items.
Situation 2. A family that is unpacking during
the camping trip demonstrates proper tent
setup and food preparation.
Situation 3. A family facing a medical
emergency showcases wilderness survival
skills using medical supplies.
