Guide Questions:
1. How do you maintain connections with others without relying on technology?
2. What do you do when you're unable to access the internet?
3. Are there any specific activities you engage in during power interruptions?
Answers:
Elderly
Professional:
b. “When we can't access the internet, we rely on hands-on methods like using
physical documents and doing tasks manually. We work with hard copies of files,
write things down on paper, and use calculators instead of digital tools”.
c. “During power outages, we switch to hands-on work and utilize hard copies of
documents. We continue our tasks without electricity, using paper documents and
manual processes to keep things running smoothly until the power is restored”.
Reflection:
It's interesting to see how different age groups and professional backgrounds adapt to
situations where technology is not readily available. The elderly individual relies heavily
on traditional means of communication and daily activities, emphasizing the importance
of personal interactions and simple household tasks. Meanwhile, the teenager's
response reflects a reliance on technology for socializing and entertainment, but also
highlights alternative activities like traditional games and helping with household chores
when internet access is unavailable. On the other hand, the professional's approach
demonstrates a balance between technology and hands-on methods, utilizing hard
copies of documents and manual processes to ensure work continuity during
disruptions.
