MASTER CHIP DETECTOR INDICATOR

Magnetic chip detectors (MCDs) are used to detect metal chips, shavings or particles present in aircraft
engine lubrication systems, hydraulic systems and gearboxes. The presence of metal particles may be
an indication of wear.

FUNCTIONAL TEST MAIN BATTERY (CAPACITY CHECK


Discharge the battery at the one hour capacity rate to 1.67 volts per cell (10 volts for a 12 volt battery
and 20 volts for a 24 volt battery). Record the discharge time. d. The battery is considered airworthy if it
meets 80% to 85% of the one hour capacity rating.

PBE (Protective Breathing Equipment) is a portable, self-contained, personal smoke hood designed to
safeguard flight attendants and cabin crewmembers from the effects of smoke, carbon dioxide, harmful

 Review of Quality of all spares and expendables procured from suppliers.
 Issuance of Certification Authorization
 Establishing a yearly master training plan, incorporating the ‘Training Need Analysis’ criteria.
 Establishing an audit plan (quarterly) that ensures the audits of all concerned sections are covered annually.
 Overseeing all maintenance/repair, undertaken at foreign MROs

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer


 Demonstrated experience in the development, and implementation monitoring of Project
Quality Management Systems. ()
 Support the Project Quality Management Review. ()
 Support monitoring of project quality KPIs and reporting of project quality performance. (✓)
 Experienced in participating in quality incident & failure investigations (RCAs). (✓)
 Collation of lessons learned/quality alerts and dissemination into the quality networks and
project communities.

Lead Quality Engineer

 Degree/diploma or local equivalent in Quality management, project management or related

Difference between Lead Auditor ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
