Abstract

Over the last decades, email has been the major carrier for transporting
spam and malicious contents over the network. Email is also the
primary source of numerous criminal activities on the Internet.
Computer Forensics is a systematic process to retain and analyze
saved emails for the purpose of legal proceedings and other civil
matters. Email analysis is challenging due to not only various fields that
can be forged by hackers or malicious users, but also the flexibility
of composing, editing, deleting of emails using offline (e.g., MS Outlook)
or online (e.g., Web mail) email applications. Towards this direction,
a number of open source forensics tools have been widely used by
the practitioners. However, these tools have been developed in an
isolated manner rather than a collaborative approach. Given that
email forensic tool users need to understand to what extent a tool would
be useful for his/her circumstances and conducting forensic
analysis accordingly. In this paper, we examine a set of common features
to compare and contrast five popular open source email forensic tools.
The study finds that all email forensic tools are not similar, offer
diverse types of facility. By combining analysis tools, it may be

Introduction

eMailTrackerPro helps you fight back by easily reporting spammers to

the company providing their Internet access. The geographical location of
an IP address is key information for determining the threat level or
‘ validity of an email message. An individual email finder is a process
of finding one email address for a business using the first and last names
‘ of the users along with the domain. This software allows you to enter
the required information and then check the database for any errors. It
will display the email ID if it exists on the list. Because email tracking
helps businesses learn what content elicits a response from their
customers. Gathering data like clicks, time spent on a website, or
whether you buy something after opening that newsletter is all
incredibly valuable. The importance of email tracking is in the data it
he first place to start tracing an email is to look for the source IP address ,
the string of numbers that identify devices connected to the internet.
Check the email header , which contains information about the
sender, receiver, subject, and time the message was
sent.

each of which is explained below the image.

Advantages of Caesar cipher

3 .you can see which customers opened your emails and

when they opened them

Disadvantages of Caesar cipher

1. Your mailbox may be constantly bombarded with spam
messages.

2. Emails can be impersonal

3. the recipient has no way of knowing in advance that

4. the email they have received contains tracking tools.

Conclusions
As of my last update in 2022, EmailTrackerPro is a software tool designed
to trace the origin of emails by analyzing email headers. Here's how you
can generally trace the origin of an email using such a tool:
Tracing Email Origin with EmailTrackerPro:Get the Email Header:
Open the email you want to trace
Find the option to "View" or "Show Original" email. This
will display the full email headers. Copy Email Header:
Select the entire header and copy it to your

Open EmailTrackerPro and paste the copied email header into the
designated field.Analyze Results:

EmailTrackerPro will then analyze the header information, including

IP addresses and server paths, to try to determine the email's origin.
It may provide details such as sender location, IP address, hostnames,
and other technical information.
EmailTrackerPro can be a helpful tool to gain insights into the origins
of an email, particularly for identifying potential phishing attempts or
fraudulent emails.
It's important to note that the accuracy of these results can vary, as
sophisticated senders might use techniques to mask their true origin.
Always use caution and consider other factors when dealing with suspicious
emails. Remember that email tracing tools are not foolproof, and results
should be interpreted with awareness of their limitations.
Is there anything else you'd like to know about email tracking or
EmailTrackerPro?
