For question umber 2.

This pandemic brought a lot of changes in individuals life, parents in this pandemic experienced a lot of
difficulties or challenges in performing their role as providers, technology has been a trend due to the
government rule that everyone should stay in their houses to avoid the Corona virus and this
government command affect a lot of parents some loses their job, some are experiencing huge
adjustment and some are experiencing stress because they have multiple responsibilities to perform.

From the data that we gathered, we have seen that parents are not just experiencing work stress but
also parenting stress, from one of the question that we have asked them about what are the challenges
they have encountered as parents in this pandemic situation, their common answers is that their
children become hard headed, disobedient and lack of real social interaction, due to the online setting,
their children became a great challenge in a way that the they sometimes cannot control them specially
when the excuse is about school works where it is done through online and the fact that some of them
doesn’t have internet and online devices to perform school activities so parents sometimes allow their
child to go to internet café to study.

Children are getting used to the technologies like phones, computer and Television they often use this as
a means performing school activities, social interaction through online gaming, recreation such as
watching online videos and watching televisions they spend most of their time involving their selves into
the online world creating an unpleasant behaviour and according to the parents it is really hard for them
to make sure that their children are not watching inappropriate videos because they also have other
responsibilities to perform.

To conclude, parenting In this pandemic is really a challenge to them, controlling their children in the
usage of technology and getting involve into social media or in the internet trend, making sure that their
children gets the right information and not seeing unpleasant information is a big responsibility to
perform.
