 VAT @ 5% shall be chargeable extra.
 Vehicles Delivery are subject to the availability in the fleet.
 All government levies are subject to change without notice and shall be
chargeable as applicable.
2. Insurance Coverage and Claims
 The rates mentioned herewith are inclusive of ‘Comprehensive Insurance’ for
OMAN with PAB (Personal Accident Benefit) and STF (Storm, Tempest & Flood).
 Our vehicles are comprehensively insured against damages on Windscreen
Glass, Undercarriage, Roof Top & Side Mirrors subject to the submission of valid
‘Police Report’
 Final police reports must cover all accidents along with non-refundable
insurance excess fees (including administrative charges) of OMR 150/- for saloon
cars and OMR 250 for SUV cars (Inclusive of 5% VAT). (Applicable only if the
accident happens by the mistake of our rented cars lessee /drivers.)
 All ‘Insurance Excess’ needs to be settled by cash/card payment before
registering the claim.
 Accidents which are not covered by final police report or not suitable for
insurance claim shall have to be repaired by the ‘Lessee’ at their own cost.
 Insurance Coverage is valid only within the Sultanate of Oman.
 For travel to UAE, separate insurance coverage will have to be procured by
Lessee which shall be facilitated by EuroCAR.
 In case of any accident, ‘Lessee’/ ‘Driver’ has to submit the copy of the valid
driving license and passport with Oman Visa / Oman NID Card (as the case may
be of the driver of the vehicle) for processing the insurance claim, falling which,
the cost of the damages will be borne by the ‘Lessee’/’Driver’.
 All ‘EuroCAR Vehicles’ shall be maintained and serviced at our authorized service
center at the sole discretion of our company.

2. Terms and Conditions.


Service & Maintenance:
 Rates quoted are inclusive of servicing/maintenance of the vehicles.
 The Lessee shall arrange the vehicle to ‘EuroCAR’ authorised workshop /
authorised personal for regular servicing and maintenance.
 ‘Lessee’ will be responsible for any misuse of the vehicle and any cost of
repair arising due to the misuse of the vehicle shall be borne by the
‘Lessee’.

3. Parking/ Traffic Fine/ Toll Charges: ‘Lessee’ shall be responsible for the
payment of all Parking Charges/ Toll Charges, if Any/ ROP Fines etc. incurred on
account of any traffic violation.

4. Vehicle Property Rights: The vehicle will be the property of ‘Modern Al Namariq
Trade.Est’ during and end of contract.

5. Lease Agreement: The lease contract shall come into force with detailed ‘Terms
& Conditions’ which shall be duly signed by both the parties – the Lessee & the
Lessor subsequent to the acceptance of the ‘Purchase Proposal’ and on receipt
of the LPO.

6. IVMS: All the vehicles are IVMS enabled for vehicle usage as per our standard
requirements.

7. Drivers:

 Vehicles will be self-driven and will not be provided with drivers.


Driving License Conditions for ‘Self-Driven Vehicles’
o Omani Nationals: Valid National ID Card and Valid Omani Driving
License
o Expatriates: Valid Resident Card / Work Card & Valid Oman Driving
License
8. Payment Terms: Payment needs to be done by the Lessee to the Lessor
immediately on the due date mentioned in the invoice.
Late Payment Penalty: In case the payment is not received within the invoice
due date, a late payment penalty will be levied by the Lessor on the Lessee.
Such penalty will be payable on the outstanding amount @7.5% per annum
chargeable on a daily pro-rata basis.

9. Delivery:
o All the vehicles will be delivered from our Muscat branch.
o Deliveries are subject to availability of vehicles at the dealership.
o Delivery timelines can be submitted on receipt of the firm on-boarding plan
of the vehicles.
o Delivery Schedule shall be finalized before the award of the order.

10. Registration Renewal/ Traffic Fine Payments:


o Vehicles must be delivered to Lessor for Registration Renewal / ROP passing
in time failing which fines / penalties shall have to be borne by the ‘Lessee’.
o Vehicles must report to ‘EuroCAR’ on or before 45 days of the expiry of the
validity of the Registration Card (Mulkiya).

11. Replacement Cars:

o Replacement cars will be provided during routine services/ repairs with prior
appointments only. For breakdowns, replacement cars
(Substitute/Replacement Vehicle may not be the same make or model as the
Vehicle) will be given within 48 hours.
o Replacement cars will be provided from EuroCAR branches at Muscat, Duqm,
Salalah.
