Introduction
The Catholic University of Mozambique, in its perspective of training a quality teacher, takes
into account the subject of English in its curriculum plan, in which the future English teacher
seeks to discover and familiarize himself with his object of work, as well as establishing the
didactic link between theory and practice that take place in the teaching and learning process.
The present work alludes to the activities developed in the body work and aims to develop
competence, skills, abilities in the student, future English teacher, in the domain of the teaching
and learning process through the autonomous teaching of the English subject.
However, in the course of this work, a small composition was developed about my course,
contents and future plans after completing my degree in geography teaching.

Essay on my current course
It is worth remembering, however, that this definition is not unanimous among geographers, as
Geography, as a science, has undergone several transformations over the years. Therefore, there
is no way to affirm that there is a consensus among scholars regarding the object of study and the
methodological orientation of this area. It is considered one of the greatest disciplines of
humanity because without this knowledge Man would not be able to know beyond the universe,
that is, he would not be able to know the dividing parts of the world, the north-south-east-west
indications.
Geography, on the other hand, studies the social relations established in the geographic space,
that is, the relations between society and the environment. This space is transformed by man and
is therefore constantly changing. However, it is difficult to limit what is studied by Geography or
not, since this is a horizontal science, that is, its field of study is broad and relates to other
sciences, transcending its own knowledge.
It is essential to understand the relationship between the environment and society. It is through
these relationships that we can understand the dynamics of the world, the historical processes
that interfere with it and the influence of geographic characteristics on a given culture.

Through Geography, we can understand the phenomena that occur on the earth's surface and
their implications for society. We can distinguish cultural, economic and political differences
between peoples.
Geography allows us to analyze our relationship with the environment, with natural resources
and with everything that nature provides for the maintenance of life. It also allows us to
understand how society positively and negatively impacts the environment, offering alternatives
to preserve it.
Understanding the geographic space and the changes that man causes in it allows us to analyze
our existence, our history and, why not, our future.
Geography also brings with it several interesting contents such as the geographic location of a
province or city, it is from there that we can reach a point without needing to be accompanied by
someone.
In addition to these contents, there are several others in the geography course itself, such as:
My course lasts four years, as I am still in my first year, there are some barriers in this journey
but nothing better than facing and overcoming them. In this first year I am very committed to the
course in order to supply and move on to the second.
I would like to complete my degree in record time, that is, in four years without failing any
subject.
There is a part of the geography content in the module of the chair that talks about the pollution
of ocean waters on the Mozambican coast, where man himself is the main protagonist of this
action. The waters of the oceans today are the dirtiest waters in the world because it is there
where man goes to deposit his food remains, even sewage water, which makes this action
increasingly impoverished.

Taking this degree course in teaching geography has been a dream since I was little, I wanted to
know the ramifications of this universe, to know how a city is in the south and another in the
center. However, I still dream of finishing my degree and then specializing in geography.
In the future, he would like me to work in the field of this discipline, either as a teacher at a
school or university. Nothing better would be more useful to me than teaching geography in a
school and guiding my students, making them understand the importance of this subject.
Being part of the geography faculty will be an honor for me, it will be the most powerful way to
contribute to the world, make a difference with the little that I will carry from my learning,
because it will be on the basis of this learning that I will carry the material I drink. day-after-day
to unload in the minds of my students.

Conclusion
The scientific method refers to an agglomeration of basic rules of procedures that produce
scientific knowledge, whether new knowledge, correction (evolution) or an increase in the area
of incidence of previously existing knowledge.
In most scientific disciplines it consists of gathering verifiable empirical evidence based on
systematic and controlled observation, usually resulting from experiments or field research - and
analyzing it using logic. This is the case with geography that seeks knowledge from one
discipline to complement the other, thus creating scientific knowledge that contributes to the
teaching and learning process.
