What is a Subject?
1. Simple Definition:
The subject of a sentence is who or what the sentence is
about.
It's the "doer" of the action or the main focus of the
sentence.
2. Examples:
"The dog barks."
"My friend plays soccer."
"Cars drive on the road."

What is a Predicate?
1. Simple Definition:
The predicate tells us what the subject does or what the
subject is like.
It includes the verb and all the words that describe the
action or state of the subject.
