Behave respectfully towards your teacher.
Handle computers and equipment with care.
• Rules for sharing computers and equipment:
• Be patient and talk turns when sharing equipment.
• Do not use equipment for longer than you need to.
• Do not adjust equipment without permission.
• Tell your teacher if equipment is broken, or need attention.
• Leave equipment as you find it.
• Keep your work area tidy. Don’t eat or drink at your
computer. A spilled drink can be dangerous near electrical
equipment.

• Be polite.
• Report anything you see that is frightening or upsetting..
• Help others to report problems.
• Report any behavior that seems dangerous.

Components of webpage:
• Headings: Short descriptions about a webpage. A heading is larger than normal
text.
• Images: can be photographs, drawings, or cartoons to make webpage more
interesting.
• Links: Redirections to a new webpage. Links/Hyperlinks are used to find new
information. Hyperlink can be text or image.
• Logo: tells who owns the website. Logo is usually at the top of page.
• Menu: helps to find a way around the webpage.
• Text: gives information or instructions. It should be clear and relevant to subject
of the page.
Designing a webpage:
• Wireframe design

• Make a plan.
• Draw simple outline plan
for components.
• Draw a rectangle to show
computer screen.
• Divide the rectangle into
smaller sections for
images, text, and logo
• Web Page editor: Wix
• Section of Page: 3 sections
• Header – Top of page, name of web page & logo is displayed.
• Body – contains text and images to share.
• Footer - links to site documents and policies.

created is called home page. It is the first
page people see when they visit a website.

2. The page header: the name of webpage and


logo is placed in page header.

3. How to link pages: multiple pages are linked


together to hover around the website.
One of the way to link webpages is MENU.

Web editor has a spell checker that helps to check the
spelling and punctuation on web page.
It also checks for the correct word for your sentence.
For example:
Robots never get bored by there work.
Here, correct word is ‘their’.
