The primary five class of Kadoma Primary School were very excited to receive the
news about the trip to Kalangala islands. The news was brought to them by
their SST teacher Mr. Ntongo. He informed the class that they were going to

These are many hurdles in the education system, some of them are common to
all levels of education while others apply to particular levels.

Some of these hurdles can be paying school fees as required by the institution.
The amount of school fees are decided by the governing body of that
institution. As if this is not enough, one has to put on uniform designed in the
certain way.

Secondly the most challenging part is the issue of examinations if there was a
chance to decide, the majority would not accept this matter. There are always
a lot reasons given by the majority who hate it.

They say that examinations don’t cater for skills and talents likepublic speaking,
football, music dance and drama. I personally think examination is not the right
way of making an individual move from one level to another. A lot of justice
has come up e.g. cheating and faking results.
