Instructions

1) Confirm the answer sheet given is of the concern paper.


2) Confirm the seat number, your name on the given answer sheet & then only
start the paper. Alternate answer sheet will not be provided.
3) Standard and Medium are printed on the right corner of the paper.
4) The question paper will carry 150 Marks and will be of 90 minutes duration.
5) The question paper has 75 questions of 2 marks each.
6) All questions will be of objective type, having multiple choices.
7) Section A : Language : Question no. 1 to 25
Section B : Maths : Question no. 26 to 75
8) All questions are compulsory.
9) A separate answer sheet is provided. Colour the circle completely in front of
the concern question in the given answer sheet.
10) Each question has been given four alternative. Read them carefully, select the
correct answer eg:- If the correct alternative for Q.no.3 is 4 than record your
answer as follows Q.no.3) in the answer sheet provided
separately.
11) Use only black or blue colour ball pen for colouring the circles. Answers
coloured with pencil or gel pen will not be considered.
12) Answers once coloured cannot be changed.
13) More than one circle coloured or scratchy papers will not be considered.
14) Answer recorded in any other form will not be considered such answer will be
marked ‘zero’ eg:-

and then think over the questions you have left out.

Jawaharlal Nehru was born on 14 November, 1889. When he was fifteen years old, his father,
Motilal took him to England. His mother and sister also went with him. Jawaharlal was sent to famous
English school at Harrow. At this school he did not feel very happy. It was the first time that he had been
away from his home and his parents, and he felt home sick. Again there was very little common
between him and the English boys.
The English boys talked about nothing but studies and games, but Jawaharlal, since the days
of the war between Japan and Russia, had been taking a good deal of interest in what was
happening in the world. He read newspapers regularly and kept himself well-informed. Very few of
the English boys did like him. One day a teacher asked the class about the general elections that
were being held then in England. No one was able to give any information except Jawaharlal. This
shows that from his very early age he had began to take interest in the affairs of the world.
