The listed assemblies are not intended as long-term fire walls or barriers since fire endurance was not evaluated. See
SPECIFICATION TESTED PRODUCTS, ASTM E119 Standard, for hourly rated systems.

Interior and Exterior Use (Class Number 4881)


This section contains FM Approved building assemblies for an interior and exterior use application. All assemblies have been
examined per the following FM Approvals Standards;
• Class 4881, Approval Standard for Class 1 Exterior Wall Systems, and
• Class 4880, Approval Standard for Class 1 Fire Rating of Building Panels or Interior Finish Materials
All building assemblies are FM Approved with:
• Acceptable application’s for walls and/or ceilings,
• Class 1 type/ratings,
• Height restrictions,
• Wall/ceiling product specifications,
• Interior installation requirements, and
• Exterior installation requirements and ratings
Products listed as ceiling applications are not necessarily Approved for use as roofs. For approved roofing products and

Exterior installation requirements and ratings include;


• a wind zone category of;
o Non-Tropical Cyclone (NTC)
o Tropical Cyclone (TC), or
o Tropical Cyclone Missile (TCM)
• a wind pressure rating expressed as the maximum inward and outward pressures (+P/-P) Approved and does not include a safety
factor, and
• a hail resistance rating of either;
o Moderate (MH),
o Severe (SH), or
o Very Severe (VSH)

The FM Global Property Loss Prevention Data Sheets 1-28 shall be used to determine which ratings applies for to a particular location.

Exterior wall systems with unequal (+P/-P) values were Approved via the previous version of Standard 4881. Per Section 1.6 of the
current version of Standard 4881, these systems did not require re-examination and the ratings remain valid.

Interior Installation Requirements


Flashing Minimum 50 by 50 mm (2 by 2 in.) flashing fastened maximum 300 mm (12 in.) on center
Aluminum silicone fiber is placed between each joint including the ceiling and between and on the top
Sealant/Gasket/Caulking and bottom of the flashing. HAOFENGLI self adhered tape will be used on both top and bottom side
of the flashing prior to placing the Aluminum silicone fiber.

Fastening System A - Panels are secret fastened in joint (maximum 1000 mm (39.4 in.) oc) along every girt (915 mm (36 in.) oc) with
three 1/4 -14-4 Atlas and Bolt Company fasteners and one washer or three Buildex - CTEKS 14-20x65 and a washer. Panel
additionally secured with 4.8 mm (3/16 in.) diameter Steel Fastenel SBL6-8 Blind Rivets attached 150 mm (6 in.) o.c (8 rivets/panel
width) starting from the edge. Rivets holes are pre-drilled and used to secure the internal side of the panels.
Fastening System B - Panels are secret fastened in joint (maximum 1000 mm (39.4 in.) oc) along every girt (1830 mm (72 in.) oc)
with three 1/4 -14-4 Atlas and Bolt Company fasteners and one washer or three Buildex - CTEKS 14-20x65 and a washer. Panel
additionally secured with 4.8 mm (3/16 in.) diameter Steel Fastenel SBL6-8 Blind Rivets attached 500 mm (20 in.) o.c (3 rivets/panel
width) starting from the edge. Rivets holes are pre-drilled and used to secure the internal side of the panels.
Fastening System C - Panel are through fastened with Hexagon Head Higrip with seal #14 ITW Buildex fasteners along girts
(fasteners rows spaced 1830 mm (73.2 in.) oc) and across panel facer spaced 100,266,266,266 and 100 mm (3.9, 5.9, 5.9, 5.9 and
3.9) oc (4 fasteners per panel/girt interface).
