PROJECT METHODOLOGY FOR INSTALLATION OF GCCD DUST

COLLECTOR
1.0 Pre-Shutdown Phase
1.1 Secure of work permits to responsible permit issuer.
1.2 Hauling and unloading of tools, equipment’s and materials
from BP Industrial Fabrication Shop to worksite.
1.3 Conduct site inspection and validation.
1.4 Adhere to URS requirements for equipment purchase, design, and installation.
1.5 Submit detailed structural design for pipe supports (if applicable).
1.6 Demonstrate all required tools before execution.
1.7 Advance works: Fabricate new SS ducting and pipe supports brackets/base plates.
1.8 Execute line release.

2. 0 CIP Shutdown Phase


2.1 Commence each activity with a toolbox meeting.
2.2 Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
2.3 Remove obstacles (wiring, instruments, etc.).
2.4 If applicable, disconnect electrical components by the electrical group.
2.5 Install scaffolding for safe access.
2.6 Install new pipe supports, brackets, and the Dust Collector with its components.
2.7 Install new SS ducting.
2.8 Address punch list items.
2.9 If applicable, reconnect electrical components by the electrical group.
2.10 Conclude with removing LOTO.

3. 0 Post-Shutdown Phase
3.1 Perform testing to ensure proper functionality.
3.2 Tag the machinery accordingly.
3.3 Disassemble scaffolding.
3.4 Implement 5S principles, environmental release, and demobilization
