Title: MEAT PROCESSING (LONGANISA )

PROJECT SITE: CALANAN, TABUK CITY KALINGA

TARGET PARTICIPANTS: 20 participants

RATIONALE:

This project aims to provide new knowledge and skills to adopt with the growing changes. Meat
processing ( longganisa making) has become one of the product. Hence, there is need for the target
beneficiaries to be linked in preparation for the future and are not able to left behind.

Vendor were usually buy their longganisa product outside the municipality because no one
knows how to make such as advantage of this would be high price of the product that could hinder to
the buyer to buy. Occasion are rampant in our community where in longganisa in demand as one of the
demand as one of the major food being served to our visitor especially breakfast. This skill is indeed
important to be learned by our participants to combat poverty. This endeavor can also be considered as
proof for self- employment since materials to be used are in minimal amount and found within
community.

OBJECTIVE:

1. To promote knowledge of participants in the modern way of meat processing specifically


longganisa making.
2. To train the participants in the different techniques and styles of making longganisa.

The project hopes that participants of the said training will be able to oerform/ make different
ingredients, techniques and style in making longganisa
