Section 1: Review (Approx 100 words)

Throughout projects this year I’ve learnt a lot of new skills and a lot of
practice with skills I already have from level 2 media and I have learnt skills
from practice with my own equipment, in my first project which was a
documentary, I had the role of director and editing, I learnt a lot of skills with
editing one example I had a lot of issues with audio but I learnt how to get rid
of background noise and how to work under pressure.
During the music video project I was the camera operator, I have the most
skill in camera because I’ve always had a past with cameras, I really enjoy
being camera operator it’s somethings I’ve always loved.
I learnt how to use a Sony X70 in the music video project, which is a camera I
haven’t used before.
In this project I’m the camera operator, I have already learnt new skills with
making a script professionally and learning how to structure one, I am
excited to learn more skills with this project, especially with getting more
camera skills because camera operating is something I really enjoy.
Section 2: Project Concept (approx 200 words)

This project, we are making a short film, we ended up choosing my idea


which is a Thriller about revenge. The idea is about a girl named Hannah,
getting revenge on a man called Tom for assaulting her best friend.
The characters include Hannah the main character, Sophie her best friend,
Tom the guy Hannah gets revenge on, Esme Hannahs sister.
The scene opens up to Hannah getting ready with her sister Sophie, Sophie’s
helping her get ready but she’s worried about the guy Hannah’s meeting
because he has had rumors spread about him assaulting women, Sophie is
trying to convince her not to go but Hannah is reassuring her that it’s fine
and she is capable of looking out for herself the film carries on from here with
Hannah going on the date , we want to film it in a way were the audience is
uncomfortable and thinks the man has the power and control, but actually
Hannah does, this is inspired by the film Promising young women and Gone
girl, because they trick the audiences with who has the power in these films.
Our inspiration in developing the idea came from film like, Thelma and
Lousie, Gone girl and Promising young women, Thelma and Lousie have a
really close bond in the film which will inspire our characters bond between
Sophie and Hannah.
We will be using a Sony X70, boom pole, mics, zoom, pop filter and a tripod
for equipment.

Section 3: Evaluation (approx 50 words)

I will record my progress by reflecting on my Weebly, I will do this by


reflecting on decisions I have made or should have made, I will research into
my idea with looking at inspirations to inspire and develop the idea more,
market research, production research and content research, evaluate on how
well it’s going and explain any regrets or improvements I should make.
