NARRATIVE REPORT ON LEARNING CAMP FRIDAYS

Learning Camp Fridays, initiated by the Department of Education (DepED), aimed to


provide a dynamic and immersive learning experience for both educators and students. This
weekly event was designed to foster a collaborative and creative environment, transcending
traditional classroom settings.
Provide a platform for hands-on, experiential learning that goes beyond textbooks
and conventional teaching methods. Emphasize holistic development by integrating various
subjects and extracurricular activities, nurturing both intellectual and emotional intelligence. Create
an atmosphere that fosters collaboration between educators and students, breaking down
hierarchical barriers and promoting mutual learning.
Engaging lessons were conducted in natural settings, connecting academic subjects
with the environment. Science, literature, and mathematics found a unique blend in the midst of
nature. Creative workshops allowed participants to explore their artistic side. Painting, music, and
drama sessions were conducted to encourage self-expression and innovation.
Learning Camp Fridays has proven to be a successful initiative in promoting
experiential and holistic learning within the DepED community. The positive impact on
engagement, collaboration, and creativity showcases the potential for innovative educational
approaches. As we move forward, Learning Camp Fridays will continue to evolve, adapting to the
changing needs of our educational community while remaining steadfast in its commitment to
fostering a love for learning.
