Whats Happening Around Town Happy Thanksgiving to each of you! I trust Psalm 30:4 you will enjoy a really special extended weekend Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of His, with family and friends counting Gods rich bless- and give thanks at the remembrance of His ings in your lives! May He grant you a weekend holiness. of laughter, rest, and sweet memories! Before the festivities begin, I want to give you a heads-up on a few things that will take place upon our return from break. There will be an early dismissal on Friday, December 2nd. Our elementary Christmas concert will be on Monday, December 5th at 6:30 p.m. in the gym. Also, I would like to ask that you send a shoebox with your child sometime in the next week. A shoe-box without a lid attached works best, and it can be a smaller, child-sized shoe-box if you have one around! We will be decorating the boxes to create a home for some new books we will be reading in the coming weeks! One other important request I have is that you send a picture of your child when he or she was younger to display on our Christmas door. Please send a picture by Monday, December 5th! I will return the picture to you before Christmas! Finally, if you might be interested in supplying a little something extra for school, I was able to transfer of list of items I am in need of for our Christmas activities to little snowman Post-it! notes on our Giving Tree. If you could pick up one of the items, I would REALLY appreciate it! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Miss Hult
