Statement of the Problem Conceptual Framework
This research study aims to assess the
reading comprehension level of Grade 3
pupils of Cabunbata Elementary School.
Specifically, the study will answer the
following questions:

THEORITICAL FRAMEWORK

This research study will anchor on the


situation model of Ericsson (1995). For this
reason, this theory supported that after
each sentences read, a depiction of it
remains active in the long-term memory of
the reader and it is merged with the
incoming information from the next
sentence that is read.
