SUBJECT : Spot Report re: Stabbing Incident

1. Reference: Blotter Entry #0004

2. On May 06, 2024 at around 5:30 pm, this station receives a call from a
concern citizen Juan Bindoy 36, years old a resident in Caranoche, Sta. Catalina.
He averred that Mrs. Cadungog, Teofila, 50 years old, married and a resident in the
same place was stabbed alongside of National Highway Road in Caranoche, Sta.
Catalina by suspect Pedro Estoconing aka Pot-Pot, 58 years old and a pedicab
driver.

3. As a result thereof, the victim sustained several wounds in the upper and
lower back part of the body. The victim was rushed to Bayawan District Hospital and
upon the arrival the victim was pronounced dead by the attending Doctor due to
massive bleeding.

4. The personnel of the station conducted hot-pursuit operation and arrested


the suspect at his house while attempting to escape. The suspect is now under the
custody of the station for investigation but the weapon used in commission of the
crime was not recovered.

5. The motive of the crime was unknown and the case is still under further
investigation.

1. Reference: Spot Report dated May 13, 2024 with same subject as above.

2. In connection with the above reference, pleased be informed that the victim
Mrs. Cadungog, Teofila WHO DIED UPON arrival at Bayawan District Hospital
(BDH). The victim suffered several stabbing wounds in her body that resulted her
massive bleeding that causes her untimely death, to wit:
a. upper back hitting her respiratory organ;
b. lower back hitting her liver; and
c. abrasions and cuntosions in her face.

3. The cadaver was now at Occeña Funeral homes for post mortem
procedures.

Homicide has been filed against suspect Pedro Estoconing aka Pot-Pot at RTC
Branch 63 Bayawan City, Negros Oriental with criminal case no. 3334, respectively.

3. The suspect is temporarily detained at this office pending issuance of


commitment order.

SUBJECT : Final report on Stabbing Incident

DATE : May 15, 2024

1. Reference: a. Spot report with same subject as above dated May 15, 2024;
b. Progress report with same subject as above dated May 15,
2024

2. This pertains to the stabbing incidents transpired On or about 5:30PM of


May 06, 2024 at Caranoche, Sta. Catalina. wherein the Victim was identified as Mrs.
Cadungog, Teofila, 50 years old, female, married, Jobless while the suspect is
identified as Pedro Estoconing aka Pot-Pot, 58 years old and a pedicab driver.

3. Initial Investigation disclosed that on about 5:30 PM of May 06, 2024 The
Victim Mrs. Cadungog, Teofila was stabbed on her back two (2) times by Pedro
Estoconing aka Pot-Pot. According to the witness Reah Jane O. Abentajado Mrs.
Cadungog, Teofila and Pedro Estoconing aka Pot-Pot are having argument due to
the debt of Pedro Estoconing aka Pot-Pot and unexpectedly she was stabbed and
killed and Pedro Estoconing aka Pot-Pot runs away afterwards.

4. Due to the investigation conducted of our officers obtained through public


CCTV near the crime scene and clarified the investigation into the whole Incident.
The unidentified weapon used by Pedro Estoconing aka Pot-Pot was PHILIP
SCREW DRIVER.

5. In this connection, a case for Homicide has already been filed against the
above, named suspect before the city Prosecution Office docketed under NPS
Docket No. IV-INV-21K-0258 dated September 20,2021 and assisted by Atty. Japet
Semson Jr. Assisted City Prosecutor.
