SYMPTOMS

When attempting to Load Locations using HCM Spreadsheet Loader(HSDL),


the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
The file definition for business object Location has critical errors. It's unsafe to load the data
for object Location until these errors are resolved.

The METADATA line can't be processed because the _REPORTED_LAST_YEAR flexfield attribute isn't valid
for the PER_LOCATION_LEG_EFF flexfield code and HRX_US_EEO1_INFORMATION context.
The METADATA line can't be processed because the _EEO1_REPORTING_NAME flexfield attribute isn't valid
for the PER_LOCATION_LEG_EFF flexfield code and HRX_US_EEO1_INFORMATION context.
The METADATA line can't be processed because the _EEO1_UNIT_NUMBER flexfield attribute isn't valid
for the PER_LOCATION_LEG_EFF flexfield code and HRX_US_EEO1_INFORMATION context.
The METADATA line can't be processed because the _HEADQUARTER_ESTABLISHMENT_Display flexfield
attribute isn't valid for the PER_LOCATION_LEG_EFF flexfield code and HRX_US_REPORTING_INFORMATION
context.

CHANGES

CAUSE

Code issue after 23D, the following attributes are disabled but HSDL delivered template is still referring to the segments below:
Reporting Name - _EEO1_REPORTING_NAME (Context: HRX_US_EEO1_INFORMATION)
Unit Number - _EEO1_UNIT_NUMBER (Context: HRX_US_EEO1_INFORMATION)
Reported Last Year - _REPORTED_LAST_YEAR (Context: HRX_US_EEO1_INFORMATION)
Headquarters Establishment - _HEADQUARTER_ESTABLISHMENT_Display (Context: HRX_US_REPORTING_INFORMATION)

SOLUTION

Until the release of the permanent solution, please use the alternative solution below:

Please execute the following steps:


1. Data Exchange -> Spreadsheet Templates
2. Show Filters -> Search for "Location" in name, Code should be ORA_PER_LOCATION
3. Click the drop down arrow and choose ->Copy
4. Enter name and code and click OK
5. Search for the copy and click on the name
6. On the design page, remove the 4 attributes: Reporting Name, Unit Number, Reported Last Year, Headquarters
Establishment
7. Click the Validate and Save button
8. Click on Preview to Download the new template
9. Retry Location Load
