system is the testis.

Scrotum - It is a muscular sac which is shorter when

cold, and longer when warm.

Cowper’s Gland - It is a pair of glands also known as

bulbourethral glans that produces pre-
ejaculatory fluid that cleans the urethra to
protect the sperm.

Seminal Vesicles - It is a pair of simple tubular glands located

withing the pelvis that secrete fluid which
partly composes the sperm.

Prostate Glands - It is muscular gland that is found just in front

of the rectum and bellow the bladder which
produces most of the fluid that makes up the
semen.

Semen - Fluids secreted by cowper’s glands, prostate

glands and seminal vesicles and the sperm.

Epididymis - Coiled tube where sperms undergo

maturation and provide storage of the sperm.

Vas Deferens - The tube that leads upward from each of the
testis into the lower part of the abdomen.

Sperm - Sperm is a male reproductive cell. It fertilizes

and egg cell from the female.

Female Reproductive System Functions

Ovaries - Ovaries are the main organs of the female

reproductive system.

COURSE REQUIREMENT IN MATH 101 (1ST Semester 2023-2024)

Egg Cell (also known as ovum) - An egg cell is fertilized by a sperm to
produce fertilized egg called zygote.

Vagina or Birth Canal - It is 3 to 4 inch passageway or canal inside

the female.

Cervix - Cervix is a short canal that leads to the

uterus.

Uterus (also called “womb”) - The uterus is mage up of muscular walls, a

lining called endometrium, and a cervix

Fallopian Tubes - A Fallopian tube is a passageway that .

(also known as oviduct) conveys the ovum to the uterus

E. Discussing New
Concepts And What is the functions of the reproductive system in our body? To produce egg and sperm cells. To transport
Practicing New Skills and sustain these cells. To nurture the
#2 developing fetus. To produce hormones.
ma’am

What physical changes have occurred in you as you have gotten older? Increased muscular development in male and
Breast development in female, ma’am

low in fat.
2. Drink plenty of water.
3. Get regular exercise.
4. Maintain a healthy weight.
5. Get enough sleep.

Daily Living reproduction. Humans, like other organisms,
pass some characteristics of themselves to the

next generation. We do this through our genes,
the special carriers of human traits.

Can you survive without reproductive system? Yes, although you won’t be able to naturally
conceive a child without some reproductive
organs, you can totally live just fine without
them.

Do we need to take care of our reproductive system? Yes, ma’am

What should we do to protect our reproductive system? Take a bath everyday

Eat healthy foods
Change underware regularly
