WHO AM I

As the saying goes, “We are the sum total of our experiences.” By B.J. Neblett.
For myself, my recent life experiences have been a big help for who am I right now. I
like to explore more things and to know what’s more to life that has to offer and do
things in my own way. I am a dependable person who is great at time management,
able to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis and who wants to be recognized and
appreciated. I do not want to be ignored, overlooked or belittled. Nobody likes being a
nobody! everybody wants to be recognized as somebody who is important and
respected and honored.
Most people are concerned about how they are seen by others and efforts are
made to put on a good appearance.I don’t have outstanding physical features just as
some, but I know I am a better person inside. According to my friends and family they
see me as a kind, caring, helpful, independent person and strong. They once told me
that they treasure me a lot because I made them realize a lot of things. I still don’t know
what things in particular are those but I’m happy that I made a mark on them.
We literally cannot control how any other people is going to feel, think, or treat
us. I would like others to see me as an average person expressing my true selfwho
wants to be taken seriously or make me feel that they are satisfied to have my
company.I’m just a good-natured person who is really great to be around and that all I
ever wanted was to make people happy and never cause trouble. How others see me
isn’t important, how I see myself means everything.
OVERCOMING LIFE CRISIS

Every now and then life can throw us something that we do not expect. Crisis
come and can greatly affect our overall well-being. Personally, I have experienced to
deal with stressful events in life but this is the most unforgettable and I can say that it
taught me to think and view situations holistically. This was happened two years ago, a
close friend of mine was arrested and I don’t know the reason.
I was shocked and felt lonely. It was hard for me to adjust, there are times that
I always cry and didn’t want to get out of bed.It gave me sleepless nights thinkingwhat
happened and how he got into that kind of situation. I feelloss internal control causing
frustration, fear and angerbecause I lost a friend who I can talk to, comfort me and will
give me advice whenever I have a problem having a friend like him who is reliable and
always understands me is a blessing.
Avoidance is not dealing because the more you avoid the worse it gets. Through
this experience I realized things happened beyond our control all we can do is accept,
deal and learn from it. Praying is what I do in my darkest times and find healthy
escapes. Life isn’t about being easy, it is about the pursuit of happiness. In order to
pursue it, you have to find the strength to survive it. I pray that we all find peace.
MY IDEAL SELF AND REAL SELF

When asked to describe myself I never know what to say.I looked at myself a
genuine and sociable person because I love meeting new people and make them feel
comfortable in my presence. Also, I am kind, loving and generous.I believe in the
saying “patience is a virtue.” because when you have patience all things will eventually
fall right into place.
I believe that life is a learning experience and being able to recognize our own
strengths and weaknesses can help us become better individuals in anything we choose
to do. One of my greatest strength is my ability to be a well-organized individual. I
prioritize what is more important to least important. In doing this, it helps me organize
and accomplish my work on time. Lack of confidence is my weakness I tend to doubt
myself if I am doing well.
Everyone has a future plan, to make the best out of our life. The perfect life, the
perfect family, dream house, dream car, and the perfect career. That’s what I hope
someday my life will be like. Doing the greatest I can, set goals in mind and study hard is
all I can do for now to achieve those dreams.
"Importance of My Religion or Faith to My Personal Development”

I do believe in higher being. First, think of the creation of all life walking
on earth. Second, amazingly diverse, productive, and even helpful to mankind.
All these magnificent creations surely are not made by chance and lastly, we
humans have a sense of right and wrong and a desire to learn.
Believing in higher being helped me how I view the world by broadening
my knowledge about spirituality and religious culture that I can apply to myself
because having a strong faith and belief will lead me to a more philosophical
outlook on life. Growing up with strong faith and belief enhanced my
psychological and social competence and make me feel better about myself as a
part of a larger culture.
The power of prayer. I always doubt praying but then I experienced
depression there I realized the essence of praying and it was a great help in my
healing. being in prayer and understanding of the calling God has put on your
life, and it will allow you to better live out the life He desires for you.
“Materialism and the Media”

1. What is the theme of these music videos?

Nowadays people are just concern about money, worry too much about what
other people think and forgotten the real meaning and matter of life. The music videos
manifest about being exposed to wealth and money can cause a change in human
behavior and how they view the world.

2. What do you think is the implications of the music video to the ones
listening and watching to it?
It shows a better understanding that even though money can meet our basic
needs it can also influence our thoughts and actions in ways that we’re often not aware
of and has positive and negative impacts on people's lives and in the society.

3. What is the influence of media to the individual especially on

materialism?
Excessive use or exposure on media often promote materialism in youth by what
they see in others they imitate it or they also want to have it just to keep up with the
trend and they tend to shop more and save less.

4. In relation to the discussion about responsible consumerism and

sustainable development, how can you be a responsible consumer? List
ways you can promote sustainable development and save the
environment through what you buy or consume.

It’s time to get rid of the excess and focus on the essentials. To become a
responsible consumer, you should prioritize needs over wants. Bring reusable shopping
bags everywhere, buy less because buying less means less packaging, less pollution
and most of all recycle, repurpose, and repair when possible these small actions
often lead to big changes to maintain the environment and secure our future.
1. What is a good life for you? Write your experience of a good life.
Aside from the factors that a person has control over in their life to make it better,
as I get older, I feel like my understanding of life broadens and my idea of the ideal life
changes. For me good life is a happy, peaceful and meaningful. A life that makes a
significant contribution instead of being self-centered.
As the saying goes, “We are the sum total of our experiences.” By B.J. Neblett.
For myself, my recent life experiences have been a big help for who am I right now. I
like to explore more things and to know what’s more to life that has to offer and do things
in my own way.
A good life, in my personal experience, is one in which I do not regret the
decisions I make, a life free of "what ifs.”, a life well lived with family, friends, and other
loved ones and being loved and being able to love is an essential part of living a good
life.

2. Do people really need technology in their lives? Support your answer.

Yes, Electronics have evolved beyond being a simple human "want “; they have
become a necessity in today's society.Technology really does have a role in how people
communicate, learn, and think. It contributes to the development and affect how people
interact with one another on a daily basis. Today's society is heavily technologically
advanced. It has both positive and negative effects on the world and has an impact on
people's daily lives.

3. Should there be ethics in using technology? Elucidate your answer.

Yes, the application of ethical thinking to the practical concerns of technology is
referred to as technology ethics. The rise of technology ethics is due to the fact that new
technologies give us more power to act, which requires us to make decisions that we
did not have to make previously.
ETHICAL DECISION MAKING
When making ethical decisions, it is necessary to recognize and eliminate unethical alternatives
before choosing the best ethical alternative. The term ethics refers to society's perception of the
proper way to live our daily lives. It accomplishes this by establishing ground rules, principles,
and values upon which we can base our actions.
It is challenging to appoint a suitable leader because there are good and bad aspects.
So, I will apply my ethical decision-making skill by seeking out potential and good qualities as
the leader of the nation who will dutifully support and lead us with innovative and ethical thinking
and strategic action when making decisions for the benefit of the country and its people. In order
for our country to prosper and be peaceful, I believe that the attributes of a good leader I
mentioned above must be considered when voting.
Some decisions are being made quickly, while others can be discussed, considered, and
assessed out over time. Making decisions is an essential skill for effective management and
leadership. Some people are simply not suited to leadership roles due to a lack of decision-
making ability.
DEALING ANGER IN A MATURE WAY
Anger is a normal and even healthy emotion, but we must deal with it in a mature and
positive manner to avoid things or situations worsening. When we are angry, we are
only concerned with what we are feeling and how we can express it, and we are prone
to saying things we didn't mean to say and will later regret.

Collect your thoughts before speaking, and allow the other party to do the same.
Remain calm and remind yourself that anger will not solve the problem or change the
situation. Instead of becoming upset, consider some logical solutions, as remaining
upset and frustrated is unproductive.

Allow yourself a break so you can calm down and think clearly; don't let anger
consume you. Learning to control your anger is challenging and confusing, and if you
think or feel that you can't control it anymore and it's affecting or causing harm to you
and everyone around you, don't be afraid to seek help.
