CO-1 To study about various concepts of smart grid and apply them in power system. To
determinethe need of smart grid in today’s era and how it is different from a normal grid.
CO-2 To explain concept of smart meters and to learnabout OMS and AMR. To
understandworking of a hybridelectric vehicle.
CO-3 Explain the phenomenon of GIS and IED and learnabout various types of batteries.
CO-4 To understandvarious concepts of micro-grid and study about its different types.To
learnabout working of fuel and solar cell.
CO-5 To understand about power quality and analyzepower quality management for a smart
grid. To study about different types of power quality conditioners used for smart grid in a
power system.
