MEDICAL ATTENTION
IN H A LA T IO N : Move affected person from exposure. If recovery not rapid or complete seek medical
attention. If breathing stops, provide artificial respiration. Keep affected person warm
and at rest.

IN G E ST I O N : DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. In case of spontaneous vomiting, be sure that vomit


can freely drain because of danger of suffocation. Only when conscious, rinse mouth
with plenty of water and give plenty of water to drink - (approx 500ml). Keep patient at
rest and obtain medical attention.
S K IN : Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with plenty of soap and water. If
symptoms occur or persist, obtain medical attention. Launder clothing before re-use.
E YE S : Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 5 minutes while lifting the eye lids.
Seek medical attention. Continue to rinse.

E X T IN G U IS H IN G M E D I A : Water spray, fog or mist, carbon dioxide (CO2), alcohol resistant foam, dry chemicals,
sand, dolomite etc.
S P EC IA L FIR E F I G H T IN G Take measures to retain water used for extinguishing. Do not release contaminated
PR O CE DU RE S : water into drains, soil and surface water. Dispose of contaminated water and soil
according to local regulations.

contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not breathe vapour or fumes.
P R EC A U T IO N S T O P R O TE C T Prevent contamination of soil, drains and surface water.
E N V IR O N M E N T:
S P IL L C L E A N U P M E T H O D S: Take-up spillage with absorbent, inert material and place in a suitable and closable
labelled container for recovery or disposal. Wash the area clean with water and
detergent, observing environmental requirements. Absorb small quantities with paper
towels or other inert material and allow to evaporate in safe place (fume
hood/cupboard).
Ventilate well, if using engineering controls, ensure extraction equipment is to
explosion/flameproof standard.
Do not allow material to enter confined spaces such as sewers because of explosion risk.
