Imagine you are a professional software engineer/web developer


Assignment activity and guidance

AMC is a recently established international school. Board of directors of AMC has decided to put
their initial step of digitalization with launching a website/web application. Since there is no inhouse
software development team, they have decided to outsource the website development project.
Assume you are the selected web developer to design and develop the website/web application.
Website has mainly three pages Home page, about us page and contact us page. All these three pages
are static web pages. In the Home page there is a link to the web application. When user click the
link user needs to be redirected to a login page. After entering the successful username and password
the user needs to be land on a dashboard page. Web application has several modules like user
registration, subject management, payment module and so on. In your assignment you have to
consider only subject management module. On the Subject Management module user needs to list
all the subjects, add a new subject, view one subject and delete one subject functionalities.
Considering below criteria and the learning outcome criteria create a report and design a multi-
page web site/web application to satisfy above requirement. You have the freedom of design the
format of the report document.

1. Create set of wireframes of the website and web application.


2. Design user interfaces based on the wireframes.
3. Use appropriate principles, standards and guidelines to produce a branded, multipage
website.
4. Consider the relationships between front-end and back-end website technologies.
5. No needs to host the web site and the application but need to mention the server selection,
DNS selection in the document.
6. Need to mention the SEO techniques used on the website in the document.
7. The technologies and frameworks used on the website and application development.
8. Design test management plan with suitable test cases and test logs (more than 20 test cases
and logs)

All students need to participate for a viva session after submitting the assignment report with a
demonstratable working solution.
