IP20 - Advanced Product Training Syllabus - 12.7
The Ceragon FibeAir IP-20 Advanced Training is a product oriented theoretical and hands-on
course that aims to provide you with an understanding of the key radio and networking
protocols relevant to microwave transmission networks with a focus on the IP-20
characteristics, features and functionality.
After this course you will understand the key features and benefits of the FibeAir IP-20, how
to perform advanced configuration, operation and maintenance, performance management
and troubleshooting.

Service Design Engineer.
Prerequisites
This course is a theoretical and practical Instructor Led Training ran in classroom and
laboratory environment with a recommended number of participants of 8.

The service model: how to create Ethernet and/or TDM services over Network elements.
Special protocols used for networks: ASP, LAG, LLDP, ABN, EBN.
TDM service Configuration.
Special features: Frame Cut-Through, Header De-Duplication
Detailed view on some special configuration: XPIC, Protection, Space Diversity, MIMO, Advanced
Frequency Reuse and Multiband – select list of products.

1 Learning environment
This course requires one classroom big enough to have both the theoretical and practical
parts. The theoretical and practical parts can be also split, while access to a laboratory is
required both physical (local) and logical (remote). The classroom shall support the audio-
visual requirements of a typical training/conference location and the required hardware for
the laboratory sessions. It shall be equipped with suitable benches and chairs for the
students, whiteboard and a multimedia-projector with screen. The size of the classroom shall
support the number of students the course is ordered for.
2 Technical environment
For the minimum required setup, the following equipment must be provided (by the customer):
