LADIES ACCOMODATION

Stay-In House Rule Rules

Terms & Conditions & Rules & Regulations for staying in this accommodation:

A. Agreed to all the terms and conditions, rules and regulations, whether written or
spoken, implied or explicit of the Tenancy Agreement and House Rules.

B. Have agreed to the other house rules such as:


1. No Smoking – e-cig/shisha/pipe/etc - in room or common area
2. No Pets, whether visiting, semi-permanent, overnight, temporary or transit.
3. No loud or disturbing sounds and noises from 11.00p.m – 8a.m.
4. No Parties/large social gathering/work group unless prior permission.
5. No Religious joss-sticks burning/candles/Statues/Cabinet/Group meeting.
6. Security & Safety: I will always be mindful of the Security & Safety of this Condo.
 Giving out the Door Passkey to anyone who are not staying in the unit will
be subject for immediate sanction except for management so to do spot
checking b. Ladies tenant is responsible for own safety and the safety of
her valuables.
 Lock all doors and sliding windows/doors properly when going out or
coming back.
 If forgot to lock the main door, she shall be responsible for any losses.
 Conducting any commercial activities or any unlawful activities in the
house is not allowed
7. Harmony: Ladies should always think of Harmony off the whole unit.
 Will respect my House-mates’ privacy and space.
 Will not touch/use my House-mates’ food or property without asking.
 Will follow the Kitchen/Laundry/Bathroom/Fridge/Room Etiquette.
 Will clean up properly after using the living room, shared bathrooms and
kitchen.
 Will throw out my own rubbish (food waste).
 Must get prior permission from the management for overnight guests.

Kitchen Etiquette
(Mamasang Kioka to schedule ladies according to house choirs below)

DO
 Clean the dining table, kitchen top, stove, sink, microwave or any kitchen utensils
after use
 Wipe it off if it's oily or dirty
 Switch off the electric stove after use
 Turn off all kitchen appliances when not in use
 Be extra cautious when dealing with heat and fire in the kitchen
 Discard any food waste into a plastic bag and throw it out to the main garbage
room immediately
 Use all the kitchen equipment with care
 Keep your personal items in the designated space properly
 Wipe it dry if it's wet
 Make sure the garbage bin has plastic bag before throwing any trash in
 Wash your hand after handling food

DON'T
 Don't leave your cooking unattended
 Don't leave your dishes, plates and any kitchen utensils in the sink. Wash it
immediately after use.
 Don't move, take or use any items that are not yours or not intended for
sharing purposes.
 Don't leave food waste openly anywhere in the house. Discard it to the main
garbage room immediately.
 Don't leave food in the microwave unattended
 Don't cut food on any surfaces other than the cutting board

Bathroom Etiquette

 Done your Business? FLUSH it! Don't leave brownies for us.
 Don't Flush your Dream, your Hope and other Objects down! Only Toilet Paper
& Your Natural Waste are allowed.
 Accidentally Spill Over? CLEAN IT UP!
 If it Stinks, Spray like there's No Tomorrow!
 Wash Your Hand & Leave the Bacteria Behind.
 Keep Your Shower & Reading Time SHORT.
 Keep the Seat Dry, nobody likes their Butt Wet.
 Please use Water Conservatively, our Earth is Drying up.
 Take your Clothes out with you especially your Undies.
 If it's Not Yours, DON'T TOUCH.
 Dry your feet before heading out. Your dirty footprint is not an art.
Refrigerator Etiquette
DO
 Label your items clearly with your name
 Store your food in proper containers
 Check expiry date regularly and discard any spoiled food
 Clean up any leaks and spills
 Make sure the door is closed properly
 Keep only items that are necessary
 Be mindful of the limited space

DON'T
 Don't leave food uncovered
 Don't adjust temperature settings
 Don't leave the door open too long
 Don't move or take items that are not yours
 Don't keep too much food

Laundry Etiquette
DO

 Be timely in removing clothes from washers and dryers when it's done
 Place your housemate's clothes in the laundry basket
 Empty your pockets before putting in your clothes
 Make sure no foreign objects inside the machines
 Rinse your clothes first in the bathroom if it's full of dirt’s
 Keep the laundry room neat and tidy
 Clean up all spills and messes
 Be respectful of your housemate's clothing
 Observe the loading weight limit of the machine
 Switch off the machines after use
 Do avoid powder detergent if possible

DON'T
 Don't use the machines from 11p.m to 8a.m
 Don't leave the clothes in the washer or dryer after the cycle has finished
 Don't throw your housemate's clothing onto the floor when removing it from
machine
 Don't overload the machine with clothing or use too much detergent
 Don't take any clothing that doesn't belong to yours
 Don't sit on the machines or place heavy objects on it
 **We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged clothing.
Room Etiquette

 Switch off all lights, fan, AC or any power outlets before leaving the room.

 Lock the room door whenever you leave the house.

 Keep the volume down and ensure it’s not audible outside of the room from
11p.m – 8a.m.

 Do not place your personal belongings anywhere in the common area except
for designated rack, shelves or storage area.

 Do not make any alteration to the room including installation of the interior,
electrical wire or any others. Tenant shall not drill holes, nail on the wall, stick
anything on the wall/furniture, paint the wall, or make any form of modification
on the wall and furniture.

 This room is only permissible to be occupied by Tenant whose name is


indicated in the Tenancy Agreement.

 Overnight guests are NOT allowed unless permission is acquired from the
management. No male guests are allowed for overnight stay inside the unit.

 Any invited guests during day time should be informed in the housemate
group 24hrs in advance. No partying or any activities that caused nuisance to
the housemates or neighbors.

 This room shall not be assigned or sub-let to another person.

 Do not put any religious deity or conduct any religious ceremony, chanting,
prayers, gatherings, burning of joss-sticks or religious paraphernalia and
sacrifices inside the room, living room or the common areas or balcony and
frontage of the premises.

 Strictly no smoking/Vaping inside the room.

 Take due and proper care and responsibly use of all furniture, fittings, fixtures
and electrical appliances in the room or common areas.

 All thrash or garbage is to be kept inside the room until it’s ready to be
discarded at the waste room outside of the house. Do not put any garbage or
unwanted items at the common area.
 Do not change the door code, install additional lock or modify the lock of the
room.

 Shall not put any electrical appliances inside the room unless approved by
management, except the following: a normal iron, electric hair shaver, electric
toothbrush, hair blower and hair iron or similar personal care low-voltage
electrical appliances below 1000 watts.

 Water should be used judiciously. The ladies should report any water
leakages to the management or other representatives as soon as the same is
noticed

Health
 The Ladies shall intimate the management immediately if any critical or
transferable illness is detected to prevent other ladies from getting infected.
 The ladies shall not consume any medication inside the premises, except
which is prescribed by a registered medical practitioner.

Intoxication, Betting and Gambling


 The Hive Hostels are strictly opposed to possession, distribution and
consumption of illegal substances inside the Hostel. If any instance of such
action is brought to the notice of Hostel’s staff, they have the right to
terminate the Resident Agreement and inform the parents/college
authorities, accordingly.
 Betting and Gambling by any means is strictly prohibited in the Hostel. In
case of any such instance, the Hostel Management has the right to
immediately terminate the Resident Agreement and inform the
parents/college authorities.

Internet
 Bandwidth speed will depend on the service provider and the Hostel
location. Speed will be limited per user and may be changed as per company
policy.
 Devices per user: Hostels may have a restriction on the maximum number of
devices per user. One user can access the internet on limited devices at a
time (limit of devices may vary Hostel to Hostel).
 Management is committed to offer a fair internet experience to everyone for
which Management may continuously monitor internet usage by the
residents. A Fair Use Policy i.e.to ensures that every resident uses data in
moderation with respect to the fellow residents (given in Gigabytes (GB) of
data) will apply on all internet services.
 Browsing access: The residents are not allowed to
 Access pornography
 Create and maintain fake accounts
 Download and view pirated content
 Faking IP
 Piggybacking: Using someone else’s credentials

Fees and Fines Payable

 Ladies are held financially responsible for everything that they damage or
break or lose in which case it must be reported without delay
