ABSTRACT
This project presents an automated water tank level control system with LED indication, designed to
efficiently manage water storage and supply.

The system utilizes transistors, relay, and LED circuit to automatically switch off the water when the
tank is full, preventing over flow and wastage.

A rectifier circuit provides a stable 12V supply to the system.

The project aims to reduce energy consumption and conserve water, making it an environmentally
solution for domestic and industrial applications.

The system was successfully tested and demonstrated accurate and reliable performance. This
project offers a cost effective and innovative solution for automated water tank level control,
promoting sustainable water management practices.
INTRODUCTION
BREIF

This project report presents the design, development, testing and results of the Automatic water
tank level control system with LE indication, highlighting its potential to promote efficient water
management and sustainable development.

The report also discusses the potential applications and limitations of the system as well as future
improvements and expansions.

Water is a vital resource essential for human survival and its efficiency management is crucial for a
sustainable development. This world is facing a severe water crisis with increasing demands for
water resources and declining availability.

In many parts of the world, water scarcity has become a major concern affecting both industrial and
domestic users. Efficient water management is critical to ensure adequate water supply, reduce
waste and promote sustainable development

Manual water tank level control systems are widely used in domestic and industrial applications but
they have several limitations. These systems require manual switching, which can lead to over flow,
wastage of water and energy consumption. Moreover, manual switching can be exposed to human
errors, resulting into unnecessary water wastage and energy consumption. The need for an
automated system which can efficiently manage water storage and supply in inevitable.

AIM

The aim of this project is to design and develop an automatic water tank level control system with
LED indication which can efficiently manage water supply and storage. This system seeks to address
the issues of manual switching, water wastage and energy consumption, providing a cost effective
and innovative solution for domestic and industrial applications.

The system will automatically switch off the pump when the tank is full, preventing over flow and
reducing energy consumption.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of this project are:

 To design and develop an automatic water tank level control system with LED indication
 To eliminate manual switching and prevent water overflow and wastage
 To reduce energy consumption and promote sustainable water management practices.
 To test and evaluate the performance of the system.
