ABOUT…

The Mechanical engineering students technical festival started in 2021 and


is into its 9nd edition in its endeavour to provide a platform for the blooming and
budding engineers to showcase their talent in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
Since its inception, the technical festival has successfully provided a platform for
bringing together the entire fraternity of students, corporate and academicians under one
roof. Over years, the technical festival has spread its wings across various technologies,
inspiring creativity and innovation.

The technical festival has envisioned changes and provided rightful


solutions.through its various thought provoking initiatives.Through blood pumping
competitions, the technical festival has inspired the youth and the industry in their
endeavour to work for a better world to live in.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT :

The department of Mechanical Engineering is by far the largest department


offers a 4 year B.E in Mechanical Engineering and M.E in CAD/CAM. The department
has been recognized as one of the research centres and has many centres for excellence
which are recognized both Nationally and Internationally.

The students have been consistently participating in various national level


technical ompetetions like BAJA SAEINDIA We have well-equipped sophisticated
infrastructure and laboratories with high stanards

I am extremely happy to know that our mechanical students have come out with a
souvenir for 2014-15 acedemic year.They have spent good time to capture every event
and activities happened at mechanical engineering department during this period .I
appreciate their efforts and wish view all the best in their future endeavours

It is my immense pleasure to extend my good wishes to the members of Organizing


the Organizing Secretary, Committee and sparkling students associated with the
Mechanical Symposium "MECHGUST 14" going to be held on September 26, 2014.

It is clear that the aim of the organizers is to highlight those methods and
advanced techniques which play vital role in Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineering. I
hope this symposium will provide a platform to researchers, engineers and students
where they can exchange their views thoughts present their work.

There is an enormous enthucism among the students to knowledge in the


world's advancement.This soryt of symposium will help their ambitions to fulfill and
have a bright future in their carrier.Interaction between the students will help to
change their knowledge between themselves.Students of Mechanical & Mechatronics
enhance their skill and Engineering.are very well known for their talent and skill. So,I
believe they will take this symposium in their hands and bring greatness to their
department,the collage as well as to the nation.I wish them whole heartly for a great
success in their endourance and wish them a good future.

It gives me great pleasure to see the students of the Department of Mechanical


& Mechatronics Engineering. of our college, work tirelessly to make the National Level
Symposium MECHGUST *14, a colorful event. The Various events of MECHGUST 14,
provides a wide platform for the young minds to think over various arenas ofresearch
and exhibit one's own talent and skills. This is a great opportunity for the students
from various places to share their views and knowledge with each othe. I hope
students find MECHGUST *14 interesting and effective to develop their bank of
knowledge

MECHGUST 21 is a National Level Technical Symposium held annually to bring


out the unmatched technical skills and expertise which are hidden in the young minds.
We took pride in organized such a marvelous event and provided space for young and
dynamic Engineers as well as problem solvers.

The event is opened for students and researchers from various Engineering
Colleges and Research Institutes, predominantly from South India.
