RESOLUTION FOR THE COMPOSITION OF SCHOOL GOVERNANCE COUNCIL MEMBER

DATED MARCH 14, 2023.

WHEREAS , the Felisa Santos Elementary School resolved to adopt the implementing
guidelines of the establishment of School Governing Council for the School Year 2023-2024
pursuant to the DepEd No. 22, 2022.

WHEREAS , the Felisa Santo Elementary School convened meeting for the composition
of school Governance Council as a structured of shared governance and feedback mechanism at
the school level.

WHEREAS , the SGC shall not replace the Parents teachers Association

( PTA ), Supreme Pupil/Student Government (SPG) , School Planning Team (SPT), Alumni
Association , Child Protection Committee ( CPC ) and other school existing
committees/organizations and association.

WHEREAS , the composition of SGC members shall be composed of the following

internal and external school stakeholders; designated Co-chairman and representative from
the student government, PTA, Faculty association or its equivalent.

WHEREAS , the elected members of SGC are encouraged to expand its membership to
strengthen the partnership between the schools and their respective stakeholders and to value
the voice of the latter in the determination and recommendation of strategies to make their
schools more effective.

 Reconstruction of School Stage – Lack of financial is one reason of

having no exit gate for the learners which is very necessary for them to
have a holding place in all activities. In lieu of this is a project proposal of
putting school’s exit gate for the learners through the initiative effort of
SGC officers and will further find ways and means to pursue the
unfinished project on the said target date.
 Putting up School’s Exit Gate – prioritize the safety measures of every
learners by securing the whole vicinity of the school by having clean
surrounding free from any destructive object and away from stray
animals, one issue here is that the school is not fully close. Through the
initiative effort of SGC officers and members which started constructing
exit gate and hoping it will completely done soonest way.

I. STRENGTHEN STAKEHOLDERS PARTICIPATION AS CO-OWNER OF THE SCHOOL

Building a healthy educational community and maintaining the success of the institution
requires increasing stakeholder participation as co-owners of the institution. Create an environment
where the school administration and all stakeholders may communicate in an open and transparent
manner. Share details about school performance, choice, and policies on a regular basis. Established
a governance committee with members from diverse stakeholder organizations, including parents,
educator, students, and community people. This committee may have input on decisions and policies
at the institution. Utilize a variety of feedback tools, including suggestion boxes, surveys, and online
discussion boards, to gather feedback and grievance from stakeholders. Make sure that feedback is
valued and utilized.

Participating in school governance will strengthen the PTAs’ influence in the community.
PTAs may provide parents a significant voice in influencing activities and policies at their children’s
schools. Give student councils the authority to take part in school decision-making. Students learn
about democracy while also their heard thanks to this.

Engage stakeholders in the development of the curriculum, the creation of the budget, and the
hiring procedures. Give them a say in how the school develops in the future.

Give them a say in how the school develops in the future. Celebrate and acknowledge the
stakeholders’ contributions to the achievement of the school. This encouraging feedback may
encourage ongoing engagement. Create a long-term strategic plan for the school that includes input
from all relevant parties.

The goals, vision, and ways that various organizations will help the school achieve them
should all be outlined in this plan.

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE PARENT OF THE GRADUATING CLASS AND THE

COMPLETER WILL CONTRIBUTE ONE HUNDRED PESOS (Php 100) FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE BOX FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE NEWLY
CONSTRUCTED SCHOOL STAGE OF FELISA SANTOS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, MATI,
BACOLOD , LANAO DEL NORTE

WHEREAS , the School Governing Council feel the need construction of a newly school
stage for the safety and protection of the learners in having activities develop in their skills and
talents.

WHEREAS , the School Governing Council find it difficult to accomplish this project for
lack of funds however the SGC is pessimistic that this project will be realized thru the help of PTA
Officials, generous parents, and high ranking government officials. Attached herewith is a copy of
Program of Work for reference and guidance.

NOW, THEREFORE, on mass motion of the School Governing Council, be it

RESOLVED , as it hereby RESOLVED , to request , financial assistance in the amount of

Php 100.00 for the completion of the school of Felisa Santos Elementary School.
