1. SECURITY PRECAUTIONS
Attention: Before using this equipment, read the SAFETY PRECAUTIONS carefully to
understand the correct usage of the equipment and observe related safety protection
1.1 OVERVIEW
These precautions are given for safe use of laser, please follow and keep all incidental
informations.
As security of customer is crucial, our product’s target is safe and efficient. Because laser
equipment is electronic equipment, power line, electronic component, laser beam and other
functional parts has potential dangerous, which may cause body injury or asset damage, it is worse
under improper situation. In order to reduce these dangerous and build a safer working
environment, please read the safety precautions carefully, and operate strictly in accordance with
this manual.
Laser processing and operation should follow national standard: GB7247-87 laser products
radiation security, classification, requirement and user manual & GB10320-88 laser equipment
electrical safety.
According to output power laser products can be divided into CLASS I、 CLASS II、 CLASS
IIIA、CLASS IIIB、CLASS IV。CLASS IV laser radiation will injure body.

1.4 SYMBOL AND EXPALNATION
Warning danger
Here exist potential danger, operate according to corresponding regulations,
otherwise it will cause damage.
Warning electric
High voltages are present inside the equipment cabinet. Operate according to
corresponding regulations, otherwise it will cause damage.
No stocking
Laser may cause burning of skin, clothing, painting and flammable objects.
In certain distance, laser can light volatile substance like solvent, or even
cause exploration. Inflammable is forbidden in laser processing zone.
Sundries in corresponding parts position forbid stocking sundries, which may
cause damage or reduce processing precision.
Laser radiation
As laser has radiation danger, it’s necessary to prepare corresponding
protection measures in certain range.
Fiber protection
Don’t blend fiber.
Operation warning
Here exist potential operation damage, operate according to corresponding
regulations, otherwise it will cause damage.

Other symbols may be included in this equipment, operate according to corresponding
regulations.
Laser is a beam with high light, high power and high energy. Intense laser may burn skin. Both
direct laser beams and reflected laser beams are highly dangerous. If the beam enters the eye, it can
cause permanent damage or even blindness. In order to avoid damage caused by mis-operation,
operator should not stand in laser light path.
CO2 and Fiber laser source are widely used in laser processing, different laser source damage
different to human body. As wavelength of Fiber laser has high transmittance to eye, laser may
damage retina. CO2 laser may burn cornea. According to different laser source, different
precaution measures should be taken while adjusting laser.
If the auxiliary gas is oxygen, it is possible to cause fire. Inflammables and explosives are
forbidden to stock in working area, and it’s necessary to equip a fire extinguisher nearby the laser
source.
In order to avoid potential danger, please follow the regulations as below during usage
Do not touch any switch with wet hand to avoid electric shock. Lighting symbol on equipment
parts means high voltage electrical appliances or electrical components here. When operator
maintain or approach to this parts, they should be carefully to avoid electrical shock. For
example: protection cover in servo drive, transformer tank, electrical cabinet etc..
Read carefully the equipment manual and electrical schematic diagram to know every function
and operation method.
Don’t open electrical cabinet door or change settled parameter without permission. Only
professional personnel can change the parameter. Parameter before change should be recorded,
so that it can recover to original status when necessary.
General power supply is from kvs to ten kvs for processing laser. Laser high voltage and X-ray
damage caused by valve should be avoided.

Don’t touch electrical components under power-up state, for example: CNC device, servo
device, transformer and fan etc..

2. SUMMARIZE
2.1 OVERVIEW
LCD10C/LCB10C PCB laser marking machine is one of Chinese laborers laser automation
products of the company, using imported 10 w CO2 laser, is specially designed for automated
assembly line of an automated PCB laser marking machine. PCB laser marking machine give full
consideration to the dock with the feeding machine and cutting machine, such as communications,
control and CCD to identify design. This product contains a custom part connected to automated
assembly line, the assembly line some products feeding time, realize the automatic recognition,
automatic positioning, automatic marking, automatic detection and into the next station automatic
processing. LCB10C PCB laser marking machine is compared with the traditional laser equipment is
another feature of the device configuration for the laser, the workpiece upside down at the same time
marking, marking the artifacts 1/2, time is of the traditional marking machine with high efficiency and
recommend suite.

Laser
The principle of CO2 laser is the use of CO2 molecular vibration and the transition between rotational
level to produce laser, laser wavelength of 10.6 microns. The discharge tube filled with mixed gas such
as CO2, N2, He. When in discharge tube voltage, began to have a charged particle moving in the gas,
gas resistance began to decrease, when reaching a certain voltage value, the internal resistance
decreases sharply, current increase rapidly, gas is breakdown, discharge, the voltage value is called
the ignition voltage. Creates a laser at this time. Join the N2 is also promoted CO2 molecules are
inspired, is advantageous to the laser. Join He is to prevent CO2 gas temperatures rise, at the same
time can also reduce under the laser energy levels, improve the efficiency of the laser.

FOCUS LENS SYSTEM
F-θ lens is also called the focus lens. Lens is an important optical components in laser engraving
machine, installed in the bottom outside light path, plays a focusing function for the laser beam to
be on the surface of the workpiece.
Pollution on F - theta lens glasses will be serious influence on the laser output power, so
keep the lens clean, it can improve the efficiency of marking and prolong the service life of
the whole machine.
Lens for high precision optical components, except for the company designated professional
maintenance personnel, the rest of the staff are prohibited to disassemble.
F-θmirror
due to the selected configuration is different, so the laser model is different. Lens model will
be subject to specific configuration
2.4.3.2 GALVANOMETER
Galvanometer is actually made up of servo control board and the oscillating motor and high
precision servo control system, when the input a driving signal, oscillating motor will be in a
certain voltage and Angle of swinging Angle conversion ratio. The whole process adopts closed
loop feedback control, by the position sensor, error amplifier, power amplifier, position
differentiator, current integrator and so on five big control circuit work together.
Servo control board with four layer board design, reduced volume, improve the ability of
anti-interference, and using the latest generation of integrated circuit and various protection circuit,
make the system has strong anti-jamming capability, high reliability, good linearity, high repeat

precision, oscillating motor USES the principle of moving magnet, is internationally used, the
torque is big, small size, short response time and high reliability.
Galvanometer for high precision components, except for the company designated
professional maintenance personnel, the rest of the staff to remove is prohibited.
Galvanometer system is to make the laser according to the desired trajectory of actuators, it is
mainly composed of high precision servo motor, motor driver board, mirror, F - theta lens with dc
power supply.

2.4.4 LASER CONTROL CARD
Control card is fixed in the electric control box.Its main function is supplying power to laser by
increasing control signal, implementing signal controls of laser power and switch; Control galvo
head make the laser emit according to scheduled track.

2.4.7 INTERFACE PANEL
The layout features and wiring diagram of interface board is as bellow show.
Marking status indicator is tricolour light and indicats respectively three different state of
marking.
1. Green light is on , means machine is in readiness and can put the circuit for work at any time;
3. Yellow light is flash and buzzer is ringing, means there is no 2D code data and need to add tada
by manual;
4. Red light is on all the time and buzzer is ringing maybe door magnetic switch issue;

3. INSTALLATION AND DEBUGGING
3.1 OVERVIEW
Installation and debugging should keep to the following principles and be operated under our
company’s professional engineers.
Open the box according to the instruction to avoid machine damage. Don’t use sharp objects to rip
protection film to avoid surface scratch or damage of electrical installation protection wire. Our
company don’t take responsibilities of damage caused by customers.

As the equipment is made up of precise optics parts and mechanical parts, only when it is installed
under suitable environment could it run normally.

3.5 INSTALLATION METHOD AND PRECAUTIONS
Please install this machine under instruction of specialized personnel. According to foundation of
the scene, layout chart and factor wiring diagram to install this machine.
Check whether the connecting wire and power line is complete or damaged;
Check whether the galvo,focus lens ,laser source,lift table and work table are loose;
Open main cabinet and check whether laser source’s power supply, terminal strip, plug-in and
electrical module are loose;
Connect the IPC ,including mouse, keyboard and display;
Connect the wire from the USB control card to the main cabinet;
Fixed the foot cup of the machine, ensure the foot wheel hung up and adjust the foot cup to
make sure the work table is horizontal;

Connect the power supply of the main cabinet and the IPC.
Read carefully equipment electrical layout and install wires according to drawing.
Check whether general power supply air switch and other power supply air switch are sensitive.
Check whether laser source’s power wire connection is correct, 220V AC power should be
connected on enter of general power supply air switch. Refer to electrical general assemble
drawing for detailed information.
Check general power supply air switch and other power supply air switch(such as mainframe,
laser source, air compress machine etc) should meet the capacity marked by drawing.
Diameter of power wire, ground wire and null line shouldn’t less than diameter marked on
electrical general layout drawing.
Warning
Ground line of power supply should be grounded.
Otherwise single in cabinet will be disturbed and
might cause danger while electrical leakage.
Equipment should be debugged by professional personnel. Read the technical materials before
debugging. Correct debugging is the basic to ensure normal running. Any question please contact
us, we will reply you as soon as possible.

4. ACCEPTANCE CHECK AFTER INSTALLATION
4.1 OVERVIEW
Before using equipment, please master equipment related operation method and understand the
running status of equipment parts correct operation is the effective measures to guarantee the
normal work of the equipment and personal safety.When using the equipment, in strict accordance
with the following preparation and check to check before use.
Says "notice". if not follow the correct operation, it may lead to personal injury or
damage.
Says when laser beam in on, don’t walk through the beam of laser, otherwise it will
cause burns to human body and even life-threatening.
Says there is a risk of high voltage power supply, don't be close to high voltage,
otherwise it will cause electric shock to human body, and even life threatening.
Notes:
anyone, at any time shall not for eyes on the direction of the laser (including the red light)
injection.
When open the mechanical brake light, no one or any object shall be in the range of laser
irradiation.

operators should wear protective glasses, during the running of equipment operators are strictly
prohibited to leave.
equipment in use process, if abnormal, should immediately press the abrupt stop switch.
in use process, should often focus on work pressure of gas.
in the operation, abide by rules of safe operation, workers are strictly forbidden to operate the
equipment unless the operators are authorized.
this equipment configuration laser belong to four class of laser products, the injection beam, the
mirror reflection and diffuse reflection light could cause damage to the human body (especially
the eyes), the presence of personnel protection should be paid attention to, also should prevent
fires.
waste gas generated in laser processing, especially in PVC and plastic, will have great harm to
the operators, please make sure that the suction device works properly.
always keep clean and tidy; Abide by the swift rules, and manage tools and accessories, make
sure they shall not be lost; when there’s an error, stop the machine immediately to check, shall
promptly notify the maintenance if cannot be handled.
to prevent lightning damage, non-professional maintenance personnel are not allowed to check
and repair the equipment electrical control part.

4.4 OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES
Operation steps:
Step1:release the urgent stop switch, ensure urgent stop switch in the pop-up.
Step2:according to the final assembly equipment wiring diagram, make the main power’s cable
connected to the related position on the electric cabinet. open general power switch.
Step3:the manual/automatic buttons to be rotated to Automatic mode.
Step4:press the power button on computer (computer power switch on the operation panel).
Step5:open the marking software, return to origin point, load the marking template file, put a
good product set coordinates
Step6:press the start button, start button indicator, the state of marking open the laser power
supply.

Operation steps:
in strict accordance with the shutdown process operation. Urgent stop switch for the equipment
used by temporary failures, the button to force the power to shut-down. For Daily equipment
normal operation, shall not be directly press the abrupt stop switch to shutdown operation,
otherwise it will lead to abnormal power equipment, and affect the service life of equipment

5. MAINTENANCE AND FAULT REMOVAL
5.1 OVERVIEW
Daily maintenance is necessary to ensure the normal use of equipment LCB10C. As the equipment
is made up of high precise components, daily maintenance should be especially careful and follow
the operation manual. It should be maintained by professional personnel.
Check carefully the pressure situation of auxiliary gas before start machine. If the pressure is
not enough, check whether pipe has leak;
Check whether laser button is normal;
Check whether binocular microscope is clean before processing;
Check whether the working area is clear before processing;
Check whether software’s parameter setting changes before processing;
Check whether there are damages on focus lens after daily processing;
Clean up waste in time after processing, keep working site clean and tidy; keep each part of the
machine clean, don’t place sundries around the machine.
Close the machine according to shutdown procedure then close the general power supply after
daily work.
a) Attentions
1) Surface of optics lens (reflection lens, focus lens etc.) should not touch directly by hand,
which might cause mirror scratch easily. Oil stains or dust on lens will influence the usage
of lens, lens should be cleaned in time.
2) Water or cleaner essence is forbidden to clean optics lens. There are a special film on the
surface of lens, which may damaged by water or cleaner essence.

3) Lens should not be placed at wet places, which might age the lens surface.
4) Dust, stains or moisture on lens surface absorb easily laser beam to damage lens film,
which might influence the laser beam quality or even generate no laser beam.
5) Once lens is damaged, lens should be sent to supplier to repair in time, don’t use
damaged lens as much as possible, and otherwise it will accelerate damage.
6) Don’t push too much pressure on reflection lens and focus lens during installing or
changing, otherwise it will cause lens deformation and influence beam quality.
1) Attentions before installing optics lens: wear clean clothes, use soap or cleanser essence
to clean hand and wear light and clean white gloves; don’t touch lens with hand; take the
lens from side and don’t touch directly the lens film surface.
2) Don’t blow on lens while installing lens; hold the optical part horizontally by the sides,
place few lens cleaning paper under lens; take carefully the lens to avoid scratch; any
pressure on lens film surface is forbidden.
3) Attention items while changing optics lens: take lens from package carefully to avoid
damage to lens; don’t put any pressure on lens before open package paper; when take
reflection lens and focus lens from package box, operator should wear clean gloves, and
take it from the side of lens; when take away the lens package should avoid dust; blow off
any dirt and dust using an air blower then put lens on lens paper; clean lens holder and
dust or stains on holder; don’t force on lens to avoid deformation, when install lens on
lens stand; after lens installation finishing, use clean air blow to clean dust and stains on
lens.
Different lens has different cleaning method. When the lens is plane and lens without lens
stand, use lens paper to clean, such as: clean reflection lens; when the lens is curve or lens
with lens stand, use cotton swab to clean. Cleaning procedures as follow:
1) Procedure of cleaning lens with lens paper: blow off any dirt and dust using an air blower;
put lens paper horizontally on lens surface, place two to three drops of high purity alcohol
or high purity acetone, operator pull slowly the lens paper, repeat the operation few times
until the surface is clean; if the lens surface is dirty, fold the lens paper two to three times

and repeat above procedures until the surface is clean. Dry lens paper pulled directly on
lens surface is forbidden.
Check stability of daily supply voltage, keep cleanliness of electrical cabinet. Check
completeness and security of each circuit.
After 24 hours using service it, after 100 hours service it again, after half a year service it
again, service it every half an year or every year(depending on customer’s situation).
Check the equipment before running, stop the machine to check when there is abnormal noise
during running. After equipment running stop the machine according to stop sequence. Then clean
the working table and surrounding of machine, don’t put sundries on working table or operation
table.

d) To check reflector path monthly, as reflector path directly influences processing
effect( operation should be done by professional personnel or qualified training personnel);
e) To check regularly whether it has scratch on external cable and connector of power
distribution lines is lose;
f) After half year’s usage, readjust the equipment to ensure its cutting precision.
When the equipment place for a long time, each motion part of the equipment should be painted
with butter and covered with anti-embroidered paper. Check regularly other parts to avoid rusty
phenomenon, and deal with the rusty parts by cleaning (if it is possible, cover can be added on the
surface), clean and check regularly the equipment.

1. If Galvanometer works 8 hours/day, it’s required 1 time clean and maintenance at least, every
week check F-θ lens protection glass is good or not.
2. Clean and maintenance method:
2.1 Turn off power of galvanometer.
2.2 Clean dust on F-θ lens protection glass by using special lens paper.
2.3 If there is pollution on F-θ lens protection glass, using special lens paper with suitable
amount of alcohol, put it at the place of pollution to drag pollutants out.
3. If machine not working, put F-θ lens cover on well.

5.7 DISPLAY SCREEN MAINTENANCE
1. If display works 8 hours/day, it’s required not less than 2 times clean and maintenance.
2. Clean and maintenance method:
