1. EXPLANATION Utsav: Rough script

OF THE SKILL "Alright team, let's talk about the two main strokes you need to master in tennis: the forehand and the backhand.
First, the forehand. For this stroke, you'll use your dominant arm to swing the racket. Make sure to add a little twist with your
1 MINUTES upper body to get more power and control.
Now, the backhand. This stroke is performed on your non-dominant side. It has a shorter swing compared to the forehand, but
with good technique, it's just as effective for returning the ball.
Now Raja and I are going to demonstrate these shots."

2. Raja: Teach the forehand grip

DEMONSTRATIO → To perfect the eastern grip, lay your dominant hand out with the palm facing up. Then, lay the racquet in your hand with
N OF CHOSEN the strings facing up.
SKILL → Close your hand around the grip and you will have the popular eastern grip for your forehand.
Raja: Forehand slow-mo demonstration
3 MINUTES → To prepare for the shot, pivot feet towards the ball and bring the non-racquet arm out and then extend the arm with the
racquet at roughly head height.
→ Before striking the ball you must place your weight on your bent dominant knee.
→ Drop racquet down and swing as the ball is in position and finish over your shoulder with both hands.
Forehand Demonstration 3x: Utsav lobs the ball to Raja's dominant side and Raja flawlessly performs the stroke.
Utsav: Teach the backhand grip
→ Point the racquet to your non-dominant side.
→ Place your dominant hand on the end, palms facing in, and the other hand on top, palms facing outwards.
Utsav: Backhand slow-mo demonstration
→ Pull your racket back using your non-dominant arm, keep your arms outstretched. Once your arms are behind you,
slightly lower the head of the racket under the ball’s level.
→ Before striking the ball you must place your weight on your bent dominant knee.
→ Follow through by bringing the racquet to wrap around your neck.
Backhand Demonstration 3x: Raja lobs the ball to Utsav’s dominant side and Utsav flawlessly performs the stroke.
