Notice for induction of students
Dear Students,

We are pleased to announce the Induction of members in the Cultural Committee (Saviskara)
of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat.

To foster cultural diversity, creativity, and promote cultural awareness among the youth, the
platform offers an avenue to engage in activities beyond academic pursuits. It aims to celebrate
talents and contribute to a vibrant and inclusive campus environment.

Students interested in being members of the Cultural Committee are requested to fill the Google
form https://forms.gle/2ZftMSC5upMsLANo6 by 3rd September,, 2023 17:00 IST, along with
the Statement of Purpose (SOP) and Curriculum Vitae (CV). Interest shown after the mentioned
datewill not be accepted.

CULTURAL COMMITTEE

Annexure 1

The following rules, titled "Cultural Committee Induction Rules, 2023," have been established
for the induction of members into the cultural committee, hereinafter referred to as "Saviskara."

1. Positions –
The induction will be held for the vacant positions from the respective batches, as
follows-
 Batch 2020-2025: 2 Members
 Batch 2021-2026: 5 Members
 Batch 2022-2027: 4 Members
 Batch 2023-2028: 6 Members

2. Induction Procedure –
Interested students shall fill the Google Form on or before 17:00 IST 3rd September,
2023, along with the SOP and CV.
The applicants will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview Round on the basis of their
SOP and CV.
The Personal Interview Round shall be held tentatively on 4th September, 2023
following which the list of selected members shall be released by the faculty convenor.

3. General Guidelines –
Applicants seeking to join the Cultural Committee are advised to fill out the Google form
before the stipulated time. The Statement of Purpose (SOP) should not exceed 350 words
and must address the following queries:

 What motivates you to become a part of the Cultural Committee?


 How do you envision contributing to the activities of the committee?
 In your opinion, what are the most significant areas of focus for the committee,
and how do you plan to make a meaningful contribution?
 Based on your past experiences and skills, how do you believe you can effectively
Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate a genuine interest in cultural
activities, effective communication skills, collaborative teamwork capabilities,
accountability, and a sense of responsibility. All decisions under these guidelines, as well
as any related matters, will be made by the designated faculty convenor. Their decisions
will carry the authority of finality and will be binding in all respects.
