Pre-functional checklist for CRAC units
Equipment Tag: Manufacturer: Location: Serial number: Area Served: Date: Item Ensure Yes No Remarks 1 Transit bolts, brackets etc. are removed. 2 Pipe vacuum and nitrogen test are approved. 3 The fan motor rotates freely. 4 All components are in good condition and no damage or leaks is visible 5 There is no visual damage to the external casing of the unit or damage to the internal parts 6 Safety guards and panels fitted and secure. 7 Ensure that the walls, floor, and ceiling of the room where the cooling unit is located are sealed with a vapor barrier. 8 All electrical components are undamaged 9 Suitable fuses and overloads are fitted. 10 Air system access covers are secure 11 Room humidity is below 60% relative humidity and room construction is complete. 12 Condenser drain pipe is connected to main line. 13 Incoming voltages match the phase and voltage rating on the nameplate. 14 Filters are in place, properly cleaned and accessible. 15 All electrical aspect was commissioned and approved. 16 All electrical connections are correct, and that the unit is isolated. 17 All terminals connection is securely tightened. 18 Electrical cables are properly terminated and sized. 19 Circuit breakers are correct and securely attached to the DIN rail. 20 The primary and secondary power feeds are properly connected. 21 Fans rotate in the correct direction as marked. 22 Unit identification tags and labelling works are complete.
