REWRITE: CONDITIONALS

✨Dạng 1: 2 câu → câu If:

a. Anna was so busy. She skipped breakfast.

→ If

b. The weather won’t rain. We will go camping.

→ If

1. Xác định vị trí của ___________ và thì của đề

2. Thì TLD → loại 1

HTD → loại 2

QKD → loại 3

3. Biến đổi câu If trái ngược với câu đề (trừ loại 1)


EXAMPLE:

1. I have an allergy to fish. I can’t eat them.

2. I forgot to cook dinner. My parents are upset now.

3. It rained yesterday. We couldn’t go out.

4. I worked hard this afternoon. I’m very tired now.

5. Our neighbors sing karaoke every night. We can’t sleep.

6. You won’t study hard. You will fail the exam.


✨Dạng 2: because/ as/ since/ so/ that’s why:

a. Because Anna was so busy, she skipped breakfast

→ IF

b. She feels very tired today, so she cannot cook.

→ IF

Because/ As/ Since → Thay bằng If


So/ That’s why → Bỏ và thêm If ở mệnh đề còn lại

EXAMPLE:

1. He was so timid in love, so he lost her.

2. Jane helps me survey the market, so I plan to share a commission with her.

3. You cannot understand me because you are a rich man.
