➢ Brief history :
Heranba industries limited was established in 1992, by technocrats, Mr. Sadashiv K Shetty &
Mr. Raghuram K Shetty formed this company, with the objective of providing innovative
products to farmers, to maximize their farm output, where “Chemistry is at its best”.
Heranba today is one of the largest manufacturers of synthetic pyrethroids and intermediates
in India. It manufactures a wide range of pesticides including insecticides, herbicides,
fungicides and public health products, and has a wide network of business in India as well as
in the world market phenomenal growth rate year after year.
Heranba has fully integrated and modern manufacturing facilities, in the industrial belt of
“Vapi” & “Sarigam”, which is a prime industrial township in Gujarat, and with an upcoming
site at Saykha. Heranba has the capability to deliver world-class agrochemical solutions, with
an in-house R&D facility for product development and process intensification for a seamless
customer experience.
Heranba strongly believes that environment protection is a key to sustainable development,
exhibiting due importance to effluent treatment, hazardous waste management activities,
health & safety.

CHAPTER 2:
POLICY OF THE COMPANY

➢ VIGIL MECHANISM/WHISTLE BLOWER POLICY:


The Company has a Vigil Mechanism/Whistle Policy under which it established a Whistle
Blower Policy/Vigil Mechanism.This policy seeks the support of employees, channel partners
and vendors to report Significant deviations from key management policies and report any
non-compliance and wrong practices, e.g., unethical behaviour, fraud, violation of law,
inappropriate behaviour/conduct etc.The Vigil Mechanism/Whistle Blower policy cover
serious concerns that could have grave impact on the operations and performance of the
business of Heranba Industries Limited. A Vigil (Whistle Blower) mechanism provides a
channel to the employees and directors to report to the management concerns ethical
behaviour, actual or suspected fraud or violation of the code of conduct mechanism provides
for adequate safeguards against victimization of employees and Directors to avail of the
mechanism and provide for direct access to the Chairman of the Audit Committee in
exceptional cases.The policy neither releases employees from their duty of confidentiality in
the course of their work nor can it be used as a route for raising malicious or unfounded
allegations against people in authority and/or colleagues in general.The detailed Vigil
Mechanism/Whistle Blower Policy of the Company is uploaded on the Company’s website

➢ CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY:

➢ ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY:

The ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POICY and COMMITMENT of HERNBA INDUSTRIES


states that it does not discriminate employees on the basis of race, age, colour, sex, national
origin, physical or mental disability, or origin. They are committed to maintain a workplace
that is free of any such harassment and will not tolerate discrimination against staff members,
volunteers or agency clients.

➢ ENVIRONMENT POLICY:

Environmental policy is the commitment of an organisation or government to the laws,


regulations, and other policy mechanisms concerning environmental issues. These issues
generally include air and water pollution, waste management, ecosystem management,
maintenance of biodiversity, the management of natural resources, wildlife and endangered
species.
The ENVIRONMENT POLICY of the HERANBA INDUSTRY aims to ensure that all legal
and mandatory requirements are met with regard to maintaining the environment within and
the surrounding area of the factory and reduce/eliminate the degradation of the environment.
They have a procedure that is to be followed by all employees to maintain the environment at
an optimum level.

➢ ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY
This policy has been formulated in alignment with HIL’s code of conduct for employees.
This policy will ensure ethical, transparent and consistent business practices within the
organisation, consistent with laws and regulations applicable. The purpose of this policy is to
communicate clear process to ensure compliance with all applicable anti-bribery and anti-
corruption laws. This policy is applicable to all officers, stakeholders and employees
[including temporary or short-term contract workers] of the company.
