Week 5:

Team Marketing Project Power Point Presentation

1. You are to identify an unfulfilled need area (niche) and fill it by creating a business strategy plan to
satisfy the needs of your target market with consideration to external variables. The product or
service that you choose will then be linked with a current company for which there is a strategic fit.
2. The project will consist of a team PowerPoint presentation which you will give during live session 5.
3. Grading is based on appropriate and accurate use of as many course concepts as you can apply to
support your recommendations. For example, when you recommend a price, you might choose a
price-skimming strategy because this is most appropriate to use based on your analysis of financial
consideration, or you might recommend a matrix organizational structure based on the products
and customers that your company serves, etc.

PowerPoint Presentation
There is no set template for your PowerPoint presentation. Your presentation should be approached as
if you were a marketing team presenting your idea to a top management team. SELL YOUR IDEA!
Your presentation must be professional, but can be approached creatively. One item that must be
included in your PowerPoint presentation is one or more advertisements for your product or service
chosen from the advertisements that each team member created. As a team, you may decide that one
advertisement best represents your product or service, or you may choose more than one if you see fit.
An additional item that must be included is your research findings from your research questionnaire. All
teams will present during live session 5 and will have equal time to present. Each team can decide if all
team members will present or if only one or a few present. Teams may not go over the established time
limit to ensure that all teams have an equal opportunity. The presentation will end when the time limit
has been reached. Your goal will be to convince your classmates that your product is viable and will
successfully fill a market niche.
