5.4 Narrative report

On the December 6, 2023, Mercy Junior College Inc, celebrated “Entrepreneurship

Day”, better know by the students as “Entrep Day”, with the theme, “Unleasing young
Entrepreneurs and empowering entrepreneurship for a better tomorrow.” Groups of grade 12
students from all sections set up their stalls along the road inside the campus, each selling their

9
own unique food products. A handful of students and teachers flocked towards these stalls in
order to get a taste of what each group has to offer, as well as to chitchat with the sellers, it was
definitely a challenge to sell our group’s product, as most of the students and teachers initially
preferred the sweet products of our competitors over our savory fried rice pater. However, with
the combined efforts of our group, and with the help of our competitors, we managed to sell
every piece of fried rice pater we had. Although we did not manage to achieve our desired
profit, the experience proved to be quite a unique, memorable, and fulfilling one. Thus, we
thank the teachers who made this event possible, namely Mr. Pacholo, Mrs. Abellon, and Mr.
Compassion.
