Synopsis

Title of the project: Online Voting system

Name: PARVEZ ARKATI

Objectives:
o The main objective of this project to make a step forward in the
direction of online voting platform by providing all the essential security

o The objective of this project is to make the voting process easy, less time
taking and secure.

Introduction:
" VOTING SYSTEM" is an online voting technique. In this system people who
have citizenship of INDIA and whose age is above 18 years of any sex can give
his /her vote online without going to any polling booth. In "ONLINE VOTING
SYSTEM" a voter can use his/her voting right online without any difficulty.
He/she has to be registered first for him/her to vote manually.

 Modules:
o Admin module
o Voter module
o Voter registration
o vote
o View result

• Hardware:
o Processor-Intel(R) Core (TM)13-7020U CPU
o Memory-4GB RAM
• Software requirement:
o Operating System (Windows)

o Code Editor (Visual Studio Code)

o MySQL o XAMPP Server.

o Browser (Google Chrome, etc.)

• Application:
o The voting system provides a less time consuming
o It reduces the paper work and makes the work less
o In the database information of every voter is stored
o Registration of the voter is done by ELECTION COMMISION OF INDIA.

• FEASIBILITY STUDY:

Depending on the results of the initial investigation the survey is now ex panded to a more
detailed feasibility study. "FEASIBILITY STUDY is a test of system proposal according to its
workability, impact of the organization, ability to meet needs and effective use of the
resources

Steps involved in the feasibility analysis are:

o Define and identify characteristics of proposed system,


o Determine and evaluate performance and cost effective of each
proposed system.
o Weight system performance and cost data.
o Select the best-proposed system.

 Technical feasibility
In this type of feasibility, we have to see that whatever existing system in the
organization supports the computerized systems or not. In other words, is the
computerized system working same as that of the existing system? The
computerized system may not create any problem, if any problem regarding to
the system occurs, then the manner can contact to the software consultancy
firm, so that they can remove the problems or bugs

• Economic feasibility
This also called as COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS. The cost will reduce in some
aspects and respective increase in not as much as compared to reduction
computerization will reduce the requirement staff.

• Operational feasibility
This Application is very easy to operate as it is made user friendly with the help
of very effective GUI tools. Main consideration is user's easy access to all the
functionality of the system. Another main consideration is here is that whether
user organization is trained enough to use the newer system.
